I’m curious in warmode where people gank lowbies at?
Its fun to ruin someone’s leveling plus its an eternal war so every kill matters.
I’m just curious where this sort of stuff happens
Oh sorry , i havent drink coffee yet.
I thought you asked why , not where …
Well i guess its happening all around Azeroth.
You just have to be lucky to find someone in the most unusual place.
At the moment , my 110 alts are getting ganged from 120 Horde @ Metzen daily
PS . Worth the gang , finally i got the transmog enchant ‘Flames of Ragnaros’ after 2 years farm daily with 5 alts.
Aiming for ‘WInter’s Grasp’ now.
I heard there are lots of lowbies to gank in the SW AH. Or the boat in Boralus, just waiting to be killed.
How low are you talking? I’ve seen 120s kill 110+ out and about in Zandalar and KT.
Atm Redridge has a lot of Horde going there dressed as little girls and they often kill the levelling Allies in the zone. I mean that is a major difference 120 vs the 0-60 bracket.
I’m not someone who goes out of their way to seek out and kill low level chars but this kind of thing always happened on PvP servers.
I remember many times there would be max level players annihilating everything in Thrallmar and any players they came across because it was the first place you were sent after going through the Dark Portal in Hellfire Peninsula. I imagine that has changed now as the changes allow you to skip Outland all together.
Try checking popular questing areas for that. Redridge, Westfall and STV are pretty busy areas for 0-60 leveling. 60-80 is a bit of a matter of luck, but I remember seeing leveling players usually in HFP and Terokkar Forest on Outland, and Borean Tundra, Scholazar Basin and Howling Fjords on Northrend. Most players skip Pandaria and Draenor level caps by doing objectives and treasure hunting, so not much to do in those zones. For 100-110 check Azsuna and Valsharah, I almost always run into low level players there.
And that is why world pvp be should be killed off in this game. World PvP was ALWAYS all about max lvls killing, ganking / corpse camping poor lowbies with no chances to fight back at all. Mostly Horde does that, a bunch of barbarian savages you are for doing so. Admit, that you never have balls to face someone on your level. Instead you kill low lvls to feel super cool and awesome. Pathethic cowards. Blizzard should suspend max lvls for doing something like that for 1 day. After 3 warnings if you didn’t learn your lesson to stop being prick towards lowbies and wasting their time, then you DESERVE perma ban. EOT
For low level I found stranglethorn and westfall to be the worst when i’ve been levelling my alliance toons. Can’t say i’ve experienced much low lvl ganking on my horde chars though!
Fascinating, I’ve never thought such exquisite salt even existed!
You sound mad comrade.
I smell in your tears that you probably got constantly ganged from an undead army possible in your questing to 120.
Dont be that kind of snowflake.
Dont demand Activision to kill something in game which is already dead just because you cant defend yourself.
After all , Activision removed PvP realms to help casual / PvEers.
Now we only have WM , if you are scared or snowflake , you can turn it off and be safe forever.
Get good or die trying.
You know you don’t have to have war mode switched on right?
If I switch it on I do so with the full knowledge that I will come across players of the other faction who will, most likely, kick my pretty behind and then kick dirt into my face just for the extra giggles. That’s war mode! It doesn’t matter if they are my level or max level, it’s the risk I take when I click the war mode on button…
I’ll put WM on I’ll wander around for a bit, all jumpy like. Then I’ll lose my nerve and run and turn it back off again. I’m not scared of being killed or ganked… just looking like a dick when they see how s**t I am at PvP.
I’d rather get ganked on a lowbie, actually. Then I have a legit excuse for being crap.
Wintergrasp many achiv kinda unobtainable due to it’s dead zone. Blizzard should do something about it.
I loved Wintergrasp. Got muh black mammoth there way back when. <3
What a troll you are and literally! The usual gank spots: gryphon points, entrances to dungeons and raids, summoning stones, and WQ’s locations
I remember the last time I was ganked on my lowbie alt by max level players, I came back on my main and corpse camped the group until they reported me for doing it…
but to answer the question, lower level zones…is usually a good place, flight points and such in those zones just pick your level range and check the zones that match and chances are you will find someone.
but remember not all low level players are new…could come back and bite you.
Yesterday some 120 frostmage tried to gank me while i was leveling my WW monk.
I was almost embarrassed how bad he was after i send that sorry son of a… back to where he came from considering i was level 115 then.
That is the best part of warmode and the whole expansion that i can sometimes kill people in pvp with a low level character.
It’s been standard practice on PvP realms for years. People will ask their friends/guildies or people in the zone to help out, get their mains etc to repel the offenders.
You can see the same happening today today. PvP isn’t about a fair fight, it’s always dirty. Like the Assault near Boralus, there are full raid parties of Alliance sitting on some of the WQs. You have to form counter raid parties to repel/kill them, then you can actually get on with the quests. Is it cowardly to be in a full raid party/parties when people can at best be in five man groups to do the WQs, damn right it is. Can it be great fun, of course! But that’s what both sides do.
