Where does Blizz get their feedbacks?

I’d like to know what those sources are because that’s where I’d like to focus my energy and try my best to put together a constructive feedback

US forums

EU is dirty plebs with dollars signs on their heads

Beta testing

Most feedback comes from your gameplay. Blizzard log (almost) everything you do.

If you spend 5 minutes in a dungoen and quit after one boss they know there’s an issue with that boss.

If you run Beachead quest every day they know you like it. If you do every other quest but that one they know it too.

Also the important thing to remember: just because they listen doesn’t mean they have to respond to feedback. Most feedback is selfish in nature. I just read a post where someone asked for account wide AP. Yes, that would make it much easier for alts but it would also mean they play the game less and dont do WQ etc. meaning less people to group with for various activities.

From Horde players only. I don’t think they are getting feedback from Alliance players.

My guess is, the Devs don’t read the EU forums. They listen to streamers, YouTubers and shareholders. Also, they don’t care…

Imo their problem is that they listen too much rather than ignore.

I don’t think youtubers are heard at all, shareholders on the other side…

Feed back means Blizzard listens and reads the forums , streamers, reddit etc. Unfortunately they do none of these for example before BFA was launched on the PTR/Beta many people posted on the forums , streamers , you tubers etc about the azerite system and how broken it was. They did not listen then and wont listen now.

They has the plenty of stories and they said they plan years in advance we do know that is a lair. The WOD is an example , they had plenty of story lines and expansion with Nzoth, Azshara , titans , legion and the other side of the world story , the undeground mech battle etc. They missed alot out and wasted plenty of rich lore and story telling in short do not be fooled by their promises of we listening.

The answer to your question all they interested is in systems which sadly is very misguided on their part and hence the position retail finds it self in at present. The future does not bold well with the same old grinding AP in shadowlands its a grind but a capped grind , the story and lore is made up as they go along and change the story at a drop of a hat these days.

well wod might have been pre planned but people reacted negatively to the planned storyline so they scrapped it for something far worse this cost them time making the expansion far worse then it could have been

Bfa was a total failure, that I think is a common feeling and fact, the only reason Legion saved itself was because of the cool lore it had which I don’t think is gonna happen again.

The only way I see a bright future for retail WoW is if Blizz starts to listen to the playerbase and honest feedbacks and stops holding back, Classic was a perfect example of what people want in WoW. I have been playing for 10+ years now and I love this game, my only intent is to enjoy and see it thrive

I hope they listen and act, I really do

classic was a perfect example of catering to a generation of gamers that refuses to move on they rather the game stagnate and never change it’s the least appealing version of wow to me and many others

they get their feedback from their investors.

need more revenue? we get more grindy content.
need more subs? there comes another 6 months sub boat.

The classic experience for todays gamers is refreshing and led to an increase in subs for wow. The 3 quarterly results say as much evidence is many of my boys friend s play and simialr age exists across most servers in classic. You have to log on and visit many sites on how to play the game spec , class etc most people which now play classic are more up to date on how to play the game.

crapstic will and always be bad those who fail to innovate are doomed to stagnate you don’t move forward by going backwards

That was in a Beta stage. Do you know what that means? I guess not.

They admitted it was not a great system. They tried to solve it a little in 8.2 (as early as possible…). But in a Beta it is by far too late to make major changes like an overhaul of the azerite system.

Do you even read all these posts and suggestions here (not this topic perse but overall on the forums)? I am glad they won’t listen to us all. We’d be playing WoW-GO on a mobile in a hello kitty theme by now. All jokes aside, they sometimes even seem to listen too much.

I think the core phylosophy behind some game designs have been catered to mindless-endless grinds more than anything, they sacrificed fun and engaging content for solo farms which is a deteriment for an MMORPG, one of my feedback is exactly this

I don’t think they think we like beachhead as they put in the cycle of life

beachhead is terrible!

Primarily statistics (you know it from Ion’s statements about what is “fun”) and investors’s opinion. Users opinion are not very valuable because most of stuff we proposed, they discussed (and rejected) years ago.
