I don’t know what mmr you are playing but it’s wrong

is it just normal not to die if the healing is not controlled or if you burst in a cd def

because sl s1 :

Covid
the story/lore was cooler and created nostalgia (wotlk …)
bfa was probably the worst expansion ever in pvp, people needed hope
we have cata, sod, wow era
at the time we had era and bc as servers
The solo shuffle and for me a very bad idea in this design, normally it should have been a solo q to join the q 2s and 3s arena
and there is also the fact that the game is starting to get old, the majority of players are 30 years old +

but the s1 sl was cool, but after the nerf, unfortunately they nerfed the mmr and there was a deflation of cr at the end of the season
s1 before the fixes was as horrible and stupid as bfa s4 corruption

But if you play in fun mode, yes it was probably fun, but if you play hl no, it was horrible

Mainly as others have said, RSS made it so much more accessible for people to queue and do other things in the meantime and still get the elite mog etc without the added time needed to find a group.

Personally, I just play to get the elite mog then very seldom after that. This season has been especially bad since there has been no incentive for most to actually play it so most will be away doing other things unfortauntely.

Huh? What game/season are you playing?

Well classe are so bloated with power that there is no average joe, even my mother can bring AWC players to its knees if crit god says yes…

Right now classes cannot be played bad, due overbloat with power

No. Healers are bloated with power. Big health pools heavily favors them. Blizzard has added more HP every season since SL S3 and that makes DPS have less power. Check for example the stats on a scaled chest 1350agi and 6501stm. DPS can not hit for anything at all when we have so weak agi/str/int compared to stm.

Id say cut the stamina in half so DPS can finally be viable and do some DMG.
I want to Aimed → Rapid fire → kill anyone I target.

It is called lying. That is what happens with him.

It doesn’t, because healers have to heal more and more to top people. And as you pointed out yourself we get a lot more stamina that main stat, so if you feel like you don’t do much damage with spells, know that healers scale equally badly and don’t heal much more than DPS do damage with their rotational abilities.

It’s simple logic. Main stat affects damage and healing the exact same way.

Ah, I see that trying to reason with you is in fact a waste of time. A divine intervention or something similar wouldn’t save that one.

because the first season of an expansion is always the most popular especially nowdays where people dont no life wow anymore but rather play a few weeks, stop, come back etc.
in addition to that SL was MID Covid. So many people played there.

this season is decent, id say its personal preference which season is the most fun but this season certainly isnt super dampy

first season of df was very popular with 2100 max cr mid season in lfg
but that was untill ret things happened and suddenly a lot of skillful players appeared in lfg

Well… you’re arguing with someone who has played 0 games in S4 so far

this guy = clown or troll

No. It is not logical and I will explain in depth how it works. If you cut stamina in half people will be more prone to one shots. You will basically put much less effort in killing someone compared to present. Healers will have a harder time to save themself and their team mates. You can also switch between targets and for every time you do it the healer has to trade a CD because the HP pool will move up and down incredibly fast.
Healers will also have less time to react and have to play with caution. And there we have the SL S1 and S2 gameplay before blizzard did stupid things adding more HP every season after that.

No. You are wrong aswell. Let me explain to you so please sit and stay focused. S1 seasons between expansions vary considerably. How the gameplay function will determine how many players it will have. S1 DF never had the population of that S1 SL had. S1 SL far surpasses S1 DF because it had greatly optimal gameplay which gathered tons of players. It had a sophisticated fast paced gameplay that consumed so many players it almost broke the record of Wrath pvp from 2010. By the end of SL expansion it lost tons of players due to Blizzard giving in to forum complainers and made it a slow paced game.

There is great quantities of players that agree with me but since the forum has so many people that doesnt know how things should be, they dont bother to come here and argue with the mob.

Anyways I think I am done with retail Arena and I’ll just wait for Shadowlands Classic.

No, it had a lot of people playing it because PvE players did it to get gear, lmao. Almost every single person I know that raided or did higher m+ was playing PvP to get gear.

no it´s not, the best season of df was the middle of season 1 before the ret rework.

s2 was bad because of aug evoker

s3 was deflated and dead + warri ret mw meta winning by m+ rotation

season 4 is idk feels like the same as ssn3 with some exceptions

instead of warri fw ret u have batman ret or batman dk

Season 1 was cool tho, but everything else was a clownshow, especially gushing wound season and hpal 10 sec trinket cd thing

You should stop playing BM bro it does neghi dam maybe thats why nothing dies

I play MM which is even more negative dmg. I got tired of getting farmed by melees, locks and mages in Arena so now I play only normal bgs.

Ahhh you are playing classic. This is the wrong forum.

Just press back and navigate to the classic era forum

Also good to notice that real average Joe is quite rare today and there is not many left.

It is not comparable to modern average Joe.
I remember and imagine average Joe from WoD/MoP era would be around 2.2 exp a nice arena master with decent game knowledge. I knew many.

Nowdays average Joe knows close to nothing about the game rolls an auto-pilot class such as dh, assa, ret etc. Spam queues shuffle only drooling on his keyboard and perma typing. Gets 2.2 shuffle in a week not even knowing how.

Goes into forums and argues.

Season 1 & 2 were the last seasons with casual PvP playerbase. The game and especially PvP has never been more accessible than it is now. But no one plays if for the simple fact that the only reward worth getting is almost impossible to obtain without a very specific set of circumstances.

Lack of mmr inflation means that something like Gladiator is not even worth trying until the last month of the season. You’re just permanently stuck in a 50/50 bottle neck, usually at about 2-2,1k range.

It’s soul draining and eventually the only people left trying are gigs sweats and tryhards.

Why dedicate yourself to something where you’ll never see the result of the hours put into it?

Also most of them probably reached peak cr in Unchained or Shuffles in Crimson season, and not can’t break even a fraction of the same score. It’s demoralising.

I’ve played for 15 years, and I’m slowly starting to realize that if you want Gladiator, there’s no way to get it without sacrificing the fun, minmaxing the enjoyment, and quite literally FOTM metaslaving until you no longer even want to go for it.

So in other words, the casual playerbase quit because in order for you to get anything for your efforts, you have to exhaust the enjoyment out of the game.

That’s just my opinion though.

Actually they did not even reset mmr that much this season. I somehow spawned at 2,4 instantly without even playing the game.
