No but just prepatch hiw and he disappear and there was no quest to explain this. And he is a important character so there shoud be any info.
Not sure if troll, but you do know a cutscene came along with the prepatch and explained it right? Like ingame, on youtube if wanna see it again.
The only cutscene I saw was that with Sylvanas when fight againts Lich King. No more cutscenes appear on my screen.

We stole him! The Vulpera think he’s cute and he lost his papa so we’re giving him lots of cuddles and pampering!
