Where is Cairne Bloodhoof?

Hey every1

Since we saw some “dead” main chars showing up in SL, are we going to see Cairne?

Watching a reencounter of Thrall and Cairne, would be the pinacle of SL for many players who know anything basic of the Lore. Would pay big $ to see the 2 “founders” or the Horde meet up for a drink!

Nice weekened every1!

Nevermind that, where are all the gilnean souls in SL to be rescued from teldrassil’s burning, its only elves we find… grrr.

he went directly to the maw  but joking aside its the same reason we didn’t see any notable people in the halls of valor

He’s likely in the Tauren afterlife. Remember that Shadowlands have almost infinite number of afterlives.

I think Cairne deserves a good afterlife. Seeing what has become of the Horde, hearing what happened on Azeroth since his death, would not make him happy, I believe.

If you like Cairne, let him chill and not care about us.

He’s eating grass on a farm.

That’s just a lazy way of the writers. They really think their “new lore” they came up with is better than the established lore we had about the afterlife pre Shadowlands and when people ask about “where is this established lore” they just say “it’s out there but we won’t touch it because OUR thing is more interesting”.

If I was Blizzard I would fire the entire writing team.

That’s why Blizz don’t employ you… endless variations of Garrosh kills everyone including any Orcs who disagree with him, would get very dull, real quick.

People are more excited about Arthas and Garrosh returning. That’s just the way it is. Only a small amount of people enjoy this lore they put out.

Aaaah now i understand why Baine is just moping there all the time, Cairne didnt go to heaven

I honestly think this is the bad thing about Blizzard deciding to send us to afterlife. It’s always kinda slippery, you cannot possibly account for every character that has died in the last 20-something years (counting warcraft RTS games too).

Neither do I think they can account for every single afterlife, even if we get zones beyond the incredibly themepark 4 that we have atm.

Like props to Blizzard for original idea, whether it’s good or not idk but it’s kinda problematic, esp since afterlife wouldn’t really be easily concievable concept to realise in media, not enough to do it justice. Likewise there’s A LOT of characters that are dead so yeah. I feel Blizz wanted to use SL to make cameos but it’s harder than that.

Not trying to be negative for no reason, nor do I exclude possiblity of seeing Cairne, the point is, it’s bit tricky tbh

Is this the WoW version of Where’s Waldo?

Unlikely. we know he’s not in the Maw though. Him and his Missis turn up during the Tauren Heritage armour quest as spirits. My guess is that they ended up in some specific Tauren afterlife, as the ones we see in SL aren’t the only afterlives…

Been a while since I did the quest, but isn’t it seen that they (The Gilneans) were evacuated in time, as either Queenie or Tess was the last one through the portal?

Let’s be fair, it was pretty dull the first time round :stuck_out_tongue:

Cant sell him as well.

That’s actually a very smart point. Where are they?

Pretty sure there were dead gilneans citizens in Teldrassil labeled as “Darnasus citizen”.

you could fire or hire the best writers in the world and it wouldn’t matter their not the problem the lead narrator is aka steve dauser :stuck_out_tongue: it’s like blaming the waiter for your food being burned it was really the incompetent’s cook fault

a lot of people like to pick on golden and some her comments make it easy but funny enough shes not the problem as a writer she has very little say in how the story goes its like a actor with a terrible script no matter how good a actor is if the script is toilet paper no one can save it
