No hate to my Evoker siblings but we (Demon hunter) have been in game since a long time. You gave the extra love to the new class, they get a 3rd spec and then they get to fly. im happy for the evokers but i wish blizzard could give us our long due 3rd spec and maybe give us new demon forms?

I don’t think I’m the only person who doesn’t find them particularly appealing. Especially if not playing a male night elf who are actually big enough to wield them

I think you dont realize how bad designed DH overall is (from a gameplay kind of view)… The whole fantasy is extremely limited aswell.
So a third spec makes no sense.
But go ahead and tell us what third spec would fit into the DH fantasy. (It cant be a caster, because thats literally a warlock than.)

Giving a class a spec for the sake of it will not bring anyone joy. it wont help anyone…
look at the base of the class and you allready see how hollow it is.
But sure, go ahead and give Demonhunters a spec where they transform into pink unicorns pooping rainbows on everyone to heal and dmg the opponents…
Sidenote: A DH healer doesnt make sense in any way at all… those guys literally gouged they eyes out. Their ownly purpose and fantasy is about slaughtering demons.
3rd Spec for Demon Hunters shall be Triage, they’ll zip about on wings throwing bandages on people like it’s Halloween to heal them up.
I think a demon hunter ranged spec would add something to the game. Kind of like Diablo demon hunter. Nothing stopping them adding lore about a ranged spec. Also gives hunters competition for their weapons.

Why would we? Blizzard abandoned logic (and lore) in relation to classes already, they’re not even internally consistent any more.

The game really needs another ranged PHYSICAL damage dealer… literally only one in the game where there’s a bunch of melee and ranged spell casters.

Not gonna lie, I have actually only recently bothered to go get the ensemble for my DH this previous TBC TW rotation.
Got the glaives, logged over, transmogged them, and… eh, I kinda prefer the Legion artifact ones! Haha

Yes! Especially the mage tower(wish i had played wow in legion just for this reason) and the hidden artifact ones are awesome

Oh, don’t get me started. I’ve finished a session of looking fondly at all the Mage Tower skins that I missed out on in Legion. Warlock, Shaman, Hunter, etc…
I at least got the Havoc DH MT skin, thankfully. The BoP and Hidden ones for Vengeance look awesome as well!
In all fairness, I wouldn’t mind seeing Metamorphosis customisation for DHs alongside ghoul customisation for DKs!

Both specs of DHs are meta and substantially ahead of most other specs in the same category. They also got a rework before some specs that needed it more, like Frost DK. I feel DHs get a lot of priority treatment.
I’d happily trade the Augmentation spec for Devastation and Preservation getting more attention. Oh, and full transmog capabilities or the ability to pick my visage race!
A third spec for DH would be nice, though, but sure what they could do. They said they are not currently planning to add another support spec, so maybe a ranged spec?
But there is nothing to steal from warlocks anymore other than naming them demon hunters and just merging the two classes
DH of Diablo have nothing to do with DHs of WoW.
