Where is the content?

Dunno, haven’t seen a raid from the inside since ICC10 NHC.
Zul’Gurub once, back in Vanilla, Gruul a very few times back in TBC, ICC10 NHC one ID duration to complete it, back in WotLK. Oh…and 20th Anniversary BRD Thaurissan…getting carried through in LFR, though I hate being carried…but well…
Dungoens for Story? Pfff…I think WotLK was the last time I did dungoens during questing, or maybe Cata, can’t remember if I did Cata Dungeons back then.
I just can’t be bothered to look for people chill-running dungoens with me, so skippidy skip, YouTube cutescenes and done.

And y’know what? The game has so flipping damn much content to offer for people like me. :dracthyr_nod:
How about you just accept that this game has nothing to offer for you, quit your sub and move on to other games with more suitable content, eh? :kissing_heart:

This game is for a long time now a seasonal game where you log in and grind for a bit to get stuff like mounts/pets/titles and gear.

Legion was exception not gonna happen again.

Blizzard misunderstood what people liked about legion, it wasn’t the grind or the seasons, but rather an epic story focussed on people’s classes and what they were doing.

Whatever comes next, we need to see more unique content in the same way vein as the class order halls.

good for you if you like running around and reading books or whatever that you doing with your time in the game , just saying but i am pretty certain you can do that in another game while not paying a premium sub or hell just go outside visit the local library for free ( better experience then this game for certain ! ) and save all that money you wasting on this game and go actually travel and experience , wait for it , the REAL WORLD and learn the REAL LORE .

but for me , well you know , i like to do “fun stuff” in the game which the game devs didnt really deliver , soo yeah i probably just leave here my 10 cent and dont play retail no more ,you know what they say “you vote with your money!” so yeah but its just me

Been there, done that with my history studies: terrible setting with terrible races telling a terrible story. I prefer my elves that can do magic. I love quests and places that offer a lot of lore elements in the game.

Well, AAA games for 80 bucks are oh so much better, and especially entertaining for a LONGER time comparing 13€/played hrs vs 80€/played hrs (broken down to one month of course), sure :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Pff, amateur, why not just do both?
Besides “better experience” is a VERY subjective point of view, just to let you know.

Just gonna ignore that childish and completely inapropriate “real world traveling” part blah blah at this point, ones real life has nothing to do with ones gaming choices  :dracthyr_shrug:

Neat, then you found out WoW (retail) has nothing to offer for your gaming interests, just like I absolutely HATE FPS shooters or sports games or whatnot where people invest HOURS and HOURS, but I’m not gonna tell them their game is absolut Kodo crap. It is to me, but in general? Nah.
Sure there are games that really deserve to be called a bad game in general, but WoW? Other AAA games?
C’mon, you’re more mature than that…

People trashtalking each other by the way is not a WoW phenomena, it’s a general progress oriented content issue in all games :dracthyr_shrug:

gonna pop your bubble right there , triple A isnt the only games on the market , and shh gonna let you on a secret non-triple A game are ,get ready to be shocked , are sometimes BETTER ,crazy i know , there definitely some gems like baldur gates and at a cheap cheap price of … 60 bucks ! and if you willing to wait a bit for a holiday or an event ,geuss what ? YOU CAN BUY IT CHEAPER
man …considering the fact you keep bring the 80$ non sense you probably so used to buying games from ubisoft and blizzard and their unforgivable greedy marketing that i turned your world upside down with this info!
ah i am proud of myself

so you prefer exploring and reading ,objectively horribly written quests and in game books over REAL BOOKS that people actually put effort in writing , well you do you …

well last time i checked wow is advertised as an MMO not as an FPS or whatever you rumbling about and surely not as a walking simulator

nothing wrong with exploration and some extra detail to make the mmo world feel alive ,but its the side dish not the main event

you dont go to a restaurant and pay for the whole meal just because their dessert is good

$80? New games on steam are $40 to $50 at most in my territory.

It doesn’t matter though, it’s very simple at this point, pay for the games you like, don’t pay for the games you don’t.

Yeah 69,99-79,99 depending on title is not unusual today for “big company AAA” games nowadays, Steam and other places have a wide variety of lower priced “non AAA” devs/publishers, I know.

Lot’s of people just argue with this

argument when complaining about WoW and how “empty” this game is. :dracthyr_shrug:

Oh noes! My Bubble! :sob:
Anyway, of course there a a lot of very good low price games, just like WoW is not a “premium sub” game. You still get regular updates instead of DLC prices and servers cost money, too. Other games pay their costs through other means of gaining money from the playerbase.
Take away those 13€ and see how expensive everything else get’s.

BG3s entire Act 3 at release btw was pretty terrible, including all those bugs  But, that’s subjective, again.

Also

There is no objectivity in personal taste.
And no, reviews are useless in general, as a lot of people just complain for the sake of complaining. They keep loosing the ability to make a statement from their own perspective and just jump on a hate train.
Remember: A lot of people enjoying stuff mostly don’t talk about it in the internet.
There are more palyers silently enjoying the game than there are players complaining about it. Like in every part of life.

Was just a general gaming example, could’ve just said “I hate Raiding wheras others love spending hours and hours repeating the same content over and over”, instead of emntion other game types, yes.
But that wasn’t the point.

It’s not a side dish, you MADE it your side dish.
M+/Myth Raids/rated PvP is endgame content. NOT the entire “main content” of WoW.
That’s the issue with people, they just care about one thing and complain there’s nothing more.

It’s a huge butt game, and if YOUR PERSONAL PERCEPTION is that WoW’s ONLY got M+ etc and retex mounts to offer then that’s YOUR issue and NOT the game’s.
YOU have nothing to do in WoW, hence YOU stoped playing retail, hence NO ONE is coping and you shouldn’t shove those word’s in ones face.

Humans really fail to be objective when starting to hate something…

i have a nokia 3310 and i have a smart phone
just because my smartphone is boring doesnt mean im gonna go use the Nokia …

same for WoW

the main content is the current endgame content. everything else is LEGACY old content

The main content for TWW is leveling from 70-80 (or more the zones, leveling is too fast to not be 80 pretty quick) NOT IN A SPEEDRUN MANNER and then gearing to a gear level you desire via crafting, delves, dungeons, raids, PvP.
Now you reached your desired Gear level. Games got nothing to offer for you. Unsubscribe.
Done.
Why keep raiding for the sake of just complaining how boring it is? Because you invested so much time? Because you force yourself into a mindest letting you think you need that extra gear level? Then just take a break.
Because you’re paying 13€? Then stop paying 13€.
Because it’s fun? Well, fun wears off, can’t do anything about that. Nothing is fun forever. A break is recommended, too.

New content released? Subsribe for a month. Doesn’t suite you? Don’t renew the sub.
Done.

Well, for the price of the expansion you get a lot of content, as I said, leveling etc. is part of that content. If one rushes through them because they don’t like it, it’s their problem, not the game’s.

The sub:

There was a time where having tier mattered and we praised ppl having top tier from raids. Dungeons where fun and hard. There was a time where ppl where playing the game all months/sseasons and why… Because gear was hard to get… If you didn’t raid… No good gear… Raiding was the end game not dungeon.

Dungeons served the purpose to gear you up to START Raiding. Quests and mobs in the world where hard. We used cc even at them to do a quest.

Since m+ tho no need to raid. The only way to do raid these days is if you ALREADY have that ilvl gear. Makes no sence… I am already geared from m+ why would i go for raid?? We used to raid EVERY WEEK even if we got curve because we wanted the gear… It was the only source. Now EVERY single season is FARM gear in 1-2 weeks with m+ and when geared from it the go take the curve and we are done… 1 month of “content” there is nothing fun in the game anymore … No brawl guild no world ACTUAL activities no nothing. I’m not touching the proffesions thats another story.

We wait so many months for some content that when we gear New patch New content we get excited we buy game time and then… 10 story Quests… Few rares to farm… Thats it… Not even 3 hours worth of content with no point whatsoever…

The game now is flooded with mount and pets and mogs… Its a collect game… That is NOT mmorpg

WoW’s been seasonal for several expansions so value beyond current patch content are collectables
Player power remains with you until the next season, after which the world around you is buffed to justify getting you to farm more player power again

Transmog however…
Transmog is forever.

Don’t believe that for a second unless you literally unsubbed during that time

Bros buying Activisionblizzard and Ubisoft games exclusively :joy:

Well kiddo when you gonna earn you first pay check you gonna start to put value to things ,if wow was a 20 bucks game without monthly sub you won’t see me bet a sweat ,hell I would be on the frontlines defending it ,but for 70 bucks for dlc+monthly I expect the game to have some hella good content and a reason to be active daily not some cheap weekly stuff

You need to stop with the copium ,wow is a the definition of a premium sub game . It’s literally the most expensive game in the market .
Full priced dlcs that come out every 2 years ? Check
Monthly sub ? Check
Microtransctions? Check
Paid cosmetic ? check
Paid services (ch transf ,name change etc’) ? Check

More copium

And there are more players who silent quited the game then players who play the game and players who complains

Ever though why Microsoft spend Millions and went to court so they won’t have to take blizzard

I made jack , blizzard made it the main dish by ignoring the lvling progression, messing the gearing progression, by intensive speeding through everything ,by making professions weekly locked ,the whole games revolves around you hitting max lvl so you can get to the “good stuff”

You really need to do a copium check because all the things you said are OBJECTIVELY WRONG

And no one hates WOW ,the only one who hating is you ,you hating on people who play the game in the INTENDED WAY and being disappointed

All your arguments are pretty much goes like this : “You don’t like paying a sub+70$ to look at virtual trees? Then. WOW isn’t for you ,I am a better then all of you because I like to look at pixeled trees”

Yeah, we should have had quests to choose the next leader of he orders (I don’t want to be head Shaman anymore). Then we should have handed over the Artifacts (at least one per class in any case).

For Shaman it could have been Thrall again if he was redeemed somehow. It could have been Magatha Grimtotem or whoever.

Not to mention the hassle that gathering is with skyriding.
And forget about doing it with a non-skyriding mount because you’ll be too slow to compete. You’ll have nodes disappearing again and again.

At the end i believe people enjoy spending 200euro per year to play some Tw old content and more dungeons from previous expansions:D

If you look at the content Classic- Tbc- Wotlk - even Cataclysm offered more content versus the current seasonal game who provide like 2x or even 3x less content …

Instead of 5-7 raids you get 3 raids with 8 bosses that have 4 difficulties and a scaling difficulty ~

Instead of 14-16 epic dungeons you get 8 dungeons designed for fast runs due the how mythic+ is designated…

Ending the only thing i wanna add is that the current wow has failed in bringing new players due the how the game has become.
Anti-social as an mmorpg

Blame players who throw their money on blizzard shop. Why would Blizz focus more on quality / product content when they can cash grab with 80 eur mounts and tokens. Thats the price you pay

And our old reps on the warbands!
I got the expansion expecting it would eventually come, we got silence instead.
