Where is the content which has value beyond the current patch?
Where is class order hall? Where is “race quests” furthering the lore and story of each base rase? Where are mage tower gauntlets? Why did we get hero talents but no quests or anything of the sorts to hype you up about your class?
We are paying around 420 euros every 2 years and getting a skeleton of a game. Where is the content?

Content, besides Gearing up, is leveling a character and it’s professions in a non-speedrun manner, reading quests, sidequests, not speedrunning dungeons (for the first time at least), looking for interactable things like books and such for more lore, collect stuff, …
If this content is done, you either do repetative endgame to gear up or just live with the fact that you “finished” the game.
This then means: Take a break and play something else.
No game has endless content. You’ll always get to a point where you’re done.
And TWW has lot’s of that for it’s price.
Other 80€ AAA Titles don’t have to offer as much as WoW and are done in a fairly short time.
People need to learn that they are done with a game and move on to something else until new content is released.
Speedrunning through a game (!not inclining you did this!) and complaining about the lack of content is just…hta just reminds me of dude back in 2011 complaining about Skyrim being boring and empty after rushing through the main story without touching sidequests etc.

This is WoW
its just a collection game, with a bit RPG elements
- collect the new mount or Tmog and log out
like seriously think about what i just said
- every season, every patch, you log in, do m+ or raids or pvp. to collect the new thing ( mount, tmog, title, gear )
then you log out till next season
thats the WHOLE endgame. thats it. pretty basic
if you want a Content game, WoW isnt it.

Correct, but you missed the rest of the game

In ffxiv if i want to relax i just go and do gathering and crafting when i am low on energy .in wow even that is full of tension and stress .

Hm, I don’t find gathering and crafting stressfull in WoW, why does it stress you out?

nodes disappearing when you reach them . extra mechanisms that need extra care to gather successfully .as compared to old gathering and crafting i find current one stressful and not something i can personally do with low energy .

Very simply, that’s not the game people play WoW for.
If you want that kind of content there are other games
I want to do more pick pocket in this dungeon mob and boos , in the FollowerDungeon they are DELIGHTExperience
Yeah that’s a big issue, correct.
But, in FF14 you have skills to use depending on what you gather and you have different types of loot, and depending on for what you want to gather some loot not allways being available in a node, isn’t that soem level of “more to do and look after” while gathering in FF14?
Just like crafting, crafting in FF14 is active and depending on waht you want do craft, especially during levelling, you can fail hard and often compared to WoW.
Well yes, when crafting high level items in WoW where you want specific stats, etc. you can fail very hard and often, too, sure, especially when you need resources from dungeons, etc.

Guess this one boils down to subjective feeling towards each system
At least you’ve (we’ve) got something to do when we don’t have any energy for WoW, which is the most important thing of all, having alternatives.
And it’s terrible. Legion gave you much more engaging stories in each zone which were both longer but also more rewarding and cohesive.
Class order hall, Balance of power qline and mage tower mainly. Then you had World quests which were extremely quick to finish and for the “lazy” person you could just do the emissaries. Outside of this you still had pvp, m+ and raiding.
I agree that no game should be endless but you can let the player decide when they hit that point. Right now it feels like the game is heavily catered to alt-oholics because it saves them making more content. Why have we lost so much? The team is bigger than ever and us (as a collective) players are paying more than ever. And yet we have less content than ever. Oh and world pvp is completely dead so that content is also gone.

Bliz (as so often) took the wrong lessons from Legion. They thought Borrowed Power drove player engagement. When really it was the lore / content.
Players didn’t like Artifacts because they had to grind AP, they liked Artifacts because they were cool lore irems with story and content. Each class got ~3 stories to acquire their Artifacts as well as a class story.
I leveled one of each class to do the Order Hall campaigns (and get a class mount). The Order Hall campaign was just about different enough for each class to make leveling interesting each time.
If Bliz had put resourses into continuing this instead of developing Azerite Armour and Conduits / Essenses (which are no longer relevant) the game would be much healthier.

The order halls where probably the coolest feature we ever had.
The weapons where cool too but not every class had cool lore weapons. It was mostly ashbringer that was really cool there where no other weapons that with that big of an influence lore wise

Xal’atath was awesome. It would comment almost every boss encounter you had and even give you advice which would in two cases lead to your death. I’m happy they made that “weapon” an antagonist of a whole expansion.

And complain (loudly) when it was bored.

Ah ok I don’t play priests. I’m no healer and as a affi main shadow never was too interesting.
I think the wl weapons where pretty lame. Sure the flying head looked cool but he should have also talked. And souls you could see with the scythe where nice but that’s no ashbringer.
Btw it’s still a disgrace that DK only got some reforged frostmourn splinters instead of a reforged and then dominated blade
The skull also talked, but it was just the same “burn everything” kind of talking, while the SPriest dagger was more nuanced.
It would be cool if Blizzard made Class Halls relevant again, really enjoyed some of them.
I honestly would love to see another class specific quest chain, what has my order hall been doing in all of the time since Legion?
True true I forgot cause it was so lame.
And the halls themself where also a mixed batch. While most where cool I did not liked the warrior hall and again the warlock hall. Sure we had our own “planet” but it was just big and kinda empty.
God I love my wl but I hated everything in legion for them except the mount. That was good
Stop with the copium this game offers nothing beyond watching people trash talk each other in m+/raids and collecting reskined mounts.
