Where is the Horde in TWW?

4 Requests:

  1. Horde NPC for Delves. I don’t wanna venture with Brann. Please put Rexxar on our side to cover the back of horde players instead of Brann Bronzebeard…

  2. Alternative faction to Arathi for horde, because I’m not gonna want to grind reputation for the Anduin Lothar faction on my Troll, or orc, alright? I can do that on my alliance character.

  3. Separate camps in zones for Horde and Alliance players.

  4. Please let there be more to the horde than Thrall half-covered by the TWW Logo. The Tauren, the Trolls, etc. are at least as connected to Azeroth as the rest. How about you work on new characters that fill the spaces that Characters like Voljin, Saurfang, etc. used to occupy? There is enough potential.

Sure, have cross faction gameplay, but please make at least the vibes and the story not lose its uniqueness. Do we wanna go into world of Marvel-Storytelling with Azeroth vs the multiverse? I can only speak for myself, but I’d like to keep that medieval LOTR dark fantasy vibe.

It just will be another expansion about anduin crying…we will all drown in his tears.

Its pretty likely that Thrall will be the only ‘‘Horde’’-Character that gets story in TWW

…In the expansion after this there will be a lot of bloodelf/highelf story for sure…
I HATE ELVES!

It’s just representation of current wow community to make game more relatable, bunch of crying manchilds.
The only difference is anduin has legitimate PTSD and not a manchild, while you cry just because

I something wrong with my requests? Shoot.

I didn’t reply to you, but to be honest whine about TWW logo is quite funny and unhinged

Yeah, well, thrall is a cool guy, but I’m a bit tired of him being the horde representative all the time. It’s fine, sure, but I’d like to see more story development for other characters. Thrall is one of my favourite characters though, but many others are neglected. Something else can also become iconic for the horde in the future too. Lillian voss is surely on that path, though not as “cool” and marketable I guess as others

Brann is neutral… he is not an alliance only character. Same with Khadgar, for example.
Arathi is not alliance either. Can we have compensation for the Taunka and the Highmountain?
Those requests are kind of racist tbh.
You can’t have a shared character and then claim one for yourself too. That’s silly.

Btw the delves character will change each season. Stop being whiny.

well the thing is those kind of decisions are on the marketing team, thrall is recognizable so he’s on the poster, how much characters there are on the poster is too something to do with statistically most marketable design or smth.
Tldr: i don’t care and i don’t think it’s important

Who cares? The factions are dead. Did you complain when the entire MoP campaign was us following Garrosh as he became a turbo-gangsta, while the Alliance followed a literal virgin from that virgin vs chad meme?

Did you complain during all of BFA when it was nothing but Sylvanas and Saurfang? and the Alliance leader cried in the cinematic?

Did you complain in Cataclysm when the entire campaign was us following Thrall, attending his wedding and watching him listen to sigma male affirmations so that he could become Orc Jesus?

Did you complain in WoD when the entire expansion was just old Horde lore?

Did you complain in Legion when the Suramar elves that the Alliance helped joined the Horde? Or when Varian was disenchanted and replaced by scuffed Jaime Lannister, while the Horde got rid of Vol’jin, the most boring Warchief ever, and got Sylvanas, who immediately beat Genn in a fight?

Did you complain BFA when the Horde early villain was Zul

While the Alliance BFA early villain was Trisha Paytas with black hair?

Did you complain when Sylvanas got the better of the Jailer and her punishment was to simply run the save 20 souls in the maw quest a few times, while Anduin, who did nothing wrong, had to go MIA for expansion and showed back up, still crying and needing to be comforted by Thrall who hands him his sigma male affirmations playlist?

Like come on theres no way you think TWW is going to be heavily Alliance favoured. There has never been an Alliance favoured expansion, lore wise. They always either lose the fights, have less cool lore, have less cool characters, or have almost zero involvement.

The one cool thing Alliance has going for it is Khadgar, and that guy is, as all Alliance main characters, a non-aligned character.

I was very happy in the expansions
Horde chars carry weight -

Zul was such a good villain, too bad he was wasted early.
But damn after shadowbringers emet selch wish blizzard could produce good schemer type villain, zul was almost that, he could be main expac villain easily.

I think the horde is cooler and better as antiheroes, so hope they bring more edgy characters like Garrosh, Zul, Sylvanas, Gul’dan, kaelthas, etc.

The new forsaken desolate council has some members that could get a very cool story arc, if blizzard wants to focus on them a bit

There will be more companions. But they have to start with one.

Yes.
And no. I’ve been burned on the cosmic side of things by Shadowlands.
But it should definitely be a united people of azeroth vs ‘something’ imo.

But isn’t that extremely boring? United people of azeroth sounds so … I hate that word… but it sounds cringe…

I don’t think so.
I find the whole ‘horde vs alliance’ extremely boring.

I don’t even want a full horde vs alliance faction war, but I’d just like seeing morally grey story lines that are a bit edgy, you know. I think “good vs evil” is boring. If it’s “azeroth vs the rest” there is 0 edge to the story

Fair enough.
I find edgy stuff cringeworthy - its the kind of stuff I liked as a teenager and young adult. I like to feel I’ve become wiser since then.

Each to their own, I suppose.

Wanna know why garrosh was such a good character? Because a big chunk of the wow community says “garrosh did nothing wrong”, even though he is a villain, and that’s why the writing was so genius. They developped a clearly bad character doing horrendous crimes, but players believe that his decision making had genuinely good intentions. Same with arthas and similar characters.

Both quite boring characters to me, honestly.

But as I’ve said before on these forums: WoW for me was never about the story. The story has always been nothing more than just ‘okay’ with some cool moments.

WoW for me was about immersing myself in this world. About the aesthetic and atmosphere. About having adventures there and exploring new places.

I guess that’s why I gravitated towards world content at some point. I found that things like raiding just weren’t for me.

For example check this video: It’s very entertaining

It’s peak story writing by blizzard. Not because it’s lyrically very high quality, but it’s just a cool story.

That’s also why Thrall is such a good character. The fall of garrosh is mainly thralls fault, and that’s also why he didn’t accept the “court ruling” of the celestials and decided to end garrosh in Nagrand after he tried to redeem himself. This makes made Thrall a morally grey character, who is also acting in self-interest doing wrong things to calm his conscience. Additionally he also even cheats in the Mak’gora and I’m surprised the elements listened to his callings
