Where to find a guild?

My old guild died in Phase 1 so I left in search of a new guild. I advertise I am looking for a guild whenever I’m online, in many channels and many different zones. Not even once do I get a whisper or an invite.

In groups I ask if their guilds recruit, and they always say do you speak X language such as Spanish, Russian or Italian. I say no, I’m a native English speaker and they say sorry, we only accept people who speak our language. Fair enough I guess, but where to find a guild for English speakers?

I’m on living flame EU, level 40 rogue. Can’t find one for the life of me.

Would have said the server disc… because you can both browse the guilds actively recruiting, but then also do your own “lfg” with a bit about yourself like preferred language, availability casual/social etc

In-game recruitment on chat channels is a bit of a lottery I mean if you are like a healer or something else in demand you don’t even get to ask, people will try to recruit you

you could always join the leveling guild temporarily, has 1k members so maybe u find groups quicker too

Entirely depends on what kind of guild u are looking for.

As previously mentioned u can try to find guild in server discord https://discord.gg/livingflame . But, on average, people who recruit in those are kinda semi-hardcore/hardcore, at least claiming to be as such. Rarely have I saw casual guild recruiting in a server discord.

Second choice – is trade/lfg chat, but it is kinda like a lottery, but looking for a guild is a lottery itself.

If u are looking for a casual guild I would say look through in-game chat, there are usually some recruitment going every day. If u are looking for semi-hardcore/hardcore guild, I would say server discord is the way to go.

And the last choice – is joining a guild after a semi-guild run or w/e. Never done this myself and as u can see not usually working out.

On average semi-guild runs, at least at this phase (10-mans), are a tight-knit group of friends who are lacking a couple people for a run, so joining one is usually really hard, or a guild with few sign-up’s missing for w/e reason.

As for spamming “LF guild” urself, it’s kinda waste of time and most of the time u will get auto invited into leveling/botting guild.

Edit: Also rogues one of the most popular classes, and in most guilds there are already couple present, also they are kinda in a bad spot in PvE rn, so it makes it a bit harder to look for non-casual guild as a rogue player.
