Did I miss something? Where can I buy the transmog set for the dark ranger skin? Do you get it automatically or what?
you need to do it as hunter, and you buy it at the vendor in hunter class hall legion after you do the quest-chain.
Do I need to be level 60 for that? Because I did the quest and the vendor didn’t sell anything.
you need to do it as hunter, thats all i know. i was lvl 60, im not sure if you neeed to be 60 or not.
Maybe check the end of your hairline, but don’t forget to bring some water, gonna be a long journey.

Did you check the vendors in Stormwind? That would be the logical place to start.

Do it as Hunter and go to Trueshot lodge to get it. (Legion class hall) Once you get it, its unlocked for all elven toons

It’s in there In the destroyed sunwell next to the dead bodies of the king and slyvanas
