Stormwind’s phased because of the ghoul event, so there’s not as much roleplay going on here anymore.

Goldshire is a smouldering, plague-scourged pile of bones and gore, the silence is only broken by the occasional agonised wails of the damned.

Most of the roleplaying happens in Dalaran.

Theres a lot of RP in Boralus too. Just make sure you join the raid groups to avoid phasing. They are often advertised out.

In general, yeah, sorry! Im sure its spammed elsewhere too mind but thats where I saw it.
Isn’t general chat also phased? I think it might be an idea for people to use the LFG tool and advertise on the forums, as there’s likely a number of people missing out!

Giving you a sneak peak in what it would look like if roleplayers left Stormwind and you could only roleplay with people / see people through invite. Not so cool anymore to be here without the roleplayers, eh?

Search for Boralus in the group finder, we’ve been throwing these up every day for a few weeks now. Boralus as a RP hub is really coming off the ground, last week we had to create a second raid because there were more than 40 attendees at a public hanging.

In addition to casual RP between roughly 19:00-3:00 as has been the case daily, tonight there’ll be two public events in Boralus. Everyone reading this, feel free to just invite yourself using the group finder and hop in.
First event:
Public execution at 20:30 realm time, at the Gallows in Boralus. It’s down the ramp and a little further west from the harbour flight master. Organiser OOC name: Rackamore
Town Crier:
Hear ye, hear ye, vicious serial killer brought to justice in Boralus tomorrow night, by the good graces of the Lord Admiral’s own Admiralty Board. Come one, come all and witness as this psychopathic killer meets her end dangling from the hangman’s noose! Bring your own produce, or pay premium on the day! Starts at half past eight bells!
Second event:
Brawl at ~21:00 realm time, after the hanging. Sign up at 19:00 realm time. Organiser OOC name: Aneurysms
A few posters are littered around the streets and nailed to corners. Scrawled on them in legible writing is "Brawl tomorrow at the ninth bell! Arrive at the Crab & Anchor for your ride to it or go to the location on this map! (Look for the cave) Below is a section of the Boralus map, with a red dot on the caves just east of the main harbour.

Honestly, as much as it can get a pain to find rp in early and very late hours I’ve been really enjoying my time. No more cluttered hubs, people are more or less forced to roam now.
I hope that people who sit in capitals all day for their RP are finally getting a taste of roaming around and finding new people. There’s a community in Hearthglen, there’s a community in Gilneas, there’s a community in Boralus, Dalaran, Feralas… I could keep going. I hope that once all the sharding and the scourge-events are over that people tend to wander more often instead of staying in one place.
And if you can’t find anyone in the mentioned places then simply do a map scan of a few other zones. Chances that you find people are high now that everybody is scattered.

Most of us fleed to borulas far safer then Stormwind even if sharded. (Or well a large portion has, is rather active)
Will the phasing/sharding in Stormwind get fixed though, that is the question. Because two days after launch now, and the city is still sharded and RP is impossible. Can only hope that it’s only temporary and that it will last only a short amount of time, else…It will be very bad for RP.

Stormwind is basically a private instance at the moment. You see about 5 other players in your “shard”.
It really needs to be removed, yes, entirely.

But while I’m happy, we had a wepon to annihilate the Bot community, the effect on Golshire? Dubious… sure, we “cleaned it out”, but where did they went?
What unfortunate place we cursed to be the new Goldshire?
My guilt is boiling… we maybe did the right thing but what price we will have to pay for later?
I’m going to assume it’s not permanent, otherwise, we’ll have people from Ravenhold and what not intervening on our server. Seems a bit odd. Not to mention that Moonglade and Defias Brotherhood don’t really have RP anymore. I remember people saying that it was going to be temporarily though!

You couldn’t go 5 Meters without /p oh you phased for a while, but it got removed eventually.
It’s temporary. Sharding and Phasing is harely a thibg on RP realms unless neccessary.
