Where's the players?

Idk if layering is a problem, I don’t know how that works. But the world feels a bit dead. I can’t get enough players to even kill MoonFang or whatever the wolf is called in DMF

Either the server cluster is deeeeeeeed.

Or It’s just blizzard and their too aggressive phasing.

Expansions got highest player retention?. So no they didnt quit lol.

But when u go through

Warmode.
Warmode roleplay
Open world.

Then phases capped to 50 players visible to you.

This means if u have 501 people in a zone, 1 of those players are in a phase all alone :joy:

Not to mention by statistics of votes and stuff most people only play instanced content. Whjch takes them out the world completely.

That and alot of people in d4 atm so dont log on outside of wednesday to do their weeklies and log back off.

DF is the logging expansion, log on wednesday do ur m+ do ur raids log off, log bacj on the following wednesday rinse and repeat.

Yep, even the good old ‘‘hated’’ Korthia and maw had tons of players. Guess Shadowlands were not that bad after all.

The players are on the forum. It is much more fun than the game.

Nothing but cheeky cheeks

Mmo population website says that wow has around 1,2m subs atm as general info, so I suppose it was world wide. Now subtract bots from it, split it to all the regions in real world wow community is divided, subtract all the normies, who bought 6/12 month passes, but dont play the game. Now you should somehow count with the fact that some ppl play non-DF wow. The actual active player base will probably be abysmal. I guess you have higher chance of finding help with your “MoonFang” on g2g than actual lfg in this game.

Their quarterly report states so. Although df also had lower sales.

Is there anything to back up the opposing idea?

Post or link it

I didn’t claim to have on

Just wanted you to back up your claim :stuck_out_tongue:

Sharting is the worst thing in the history of wow

World of Warcraft team is delivering more content faster than ever before, and subscriber retention in the West is higher than at the equivalent stage of recent Modern expansions

thanks !

One thing though

" 27 million monthly active users, down from 45 million in Q4 2022"
Spotted this
So maybe the retention is just the addicts that are left , hence perceived strong retention

Eeeeh.

I dont think its solely this.

Remember, SL launched with 12 million subscribers because of covid.

This would have applied to all their games realisticslly so thats feeding into that aswell, also i think WoWs lost ALOT of open world players.

And pvp players ofcourse lets not forget how much legion and bfa completely betrayed the pvp playerbase.

Drops were expected but we can agree df sold less then expected.

for anyone who wonders where players are .

do researchers event tomorrow at 8:30 and 9:30 . and you will see where they are :0
