basicly topic. which adds doesnt count to bosses parses?
What i know at least.
Noth, KT, Razovious, maexena spiderlings, grobb slimes, gluth zombies.
WCL has gone a bit nutty with logs by removing almost all adds from parses entirely. There are some that still exist like guardians on Anub. Noth doesn’t make a lot of sense to me since the adds spawning are part of the fight, and can’t really be cheesed.
They have a whole page dedicated to explaining this on their site, better if you just read that and hope they don’t change it again before your next parse, lol.
You can find out specifics for the current tier by scrolling to the bottom of the classic warcraftlogs page and clicking “Speed Rules”. Then click section 3 on the left hand side “Naxxramas Parsing Rules”. It lists everything that doesn’t count, and what could get your log invalidated currently
here are the boss adds that you can pad on to increase your parse (25naxx), anub rekhan adds, grand widow (only the 2 follower adds), thats it, the rest is pure ST dps.
gothik isnt even displayed on your parse page and the entire first phase of KT also doesn’t coun. also if you go into sapph with the loatheb buff still up then the entire sapph fight log is instantly invalidated for everyone
Yeah, it feels really bad to be AoEing ads on Faerlina, wall cocoons on Maexxna and especially the living ghosts as KT spawns, knowing you are consigning yourself to low purple parse at beast. But such is life of a responsible dps. Set a rotation with your guildmates who parses and who does mechanics each week is my best suggeation.
Blizz actually changed it this week so the buff disappears now, thankfully. I say thankfully because all my sapphiron logs have been invalidated by people doing this in my guild, every single week.
Blizzard hotfixed it and this buff is automatically removed after fight with Loatheb finishes.
thaddius adds as well
Logging on classic lol, adds don’t even need to be part of the fight to exploit them.
Example, decimation.
The ghosts count however. (when KT is out and about)
Yeah but you still run about, doing very suboptimal rotations and instant casts instead of being rooted to the ground doing perfect execution of rotation on stationary KT.
That is true.
