Which class best represents a troll witch doctor?

In the vein of the discussion about which class best represents tidesages, I have a question.

Would you suggest a priest, a shaman, a mage or a warlock for the role of a troll witch doctor?

A shaman.

This is a difficult one. Perhaps affliction Warlock? Idk.

shaman I think, resto specc. You also have lots of custmization gear to pick up from.
Priest is also viable.

Warlock is more of a hexxer, and mage is deffinietly not related to it.

Shaman but there are many things that remind me of shadow priest if we go with Shadow Voodoo and Hoodoo.

But then there's the argument that witch doctors rely on voodoo and arcane sources for their magic, according to Witch Doctor Jin'Zil and the WCIII manual. All forms of shaman derive their power from the elements and most of their abilities are elemental-themed. Although they have the totems and the hexes that witch doctors use, that seems to be where the similarity between the two classes ends.

Is this use of totems and hexing enough to justify shaman as the most appropriate class, despite the rest of their abilities not fitting the theme?

voodoo is about nature, elements, curses and loa. So mix of a druid, affli warlock and shaman
