Shaman: Black, Earth Warden Deepholm type stuff.
Druid: Green, Emerald Dream type stuff.
Mage: Blue, Arcane type stuff or Bronze, Time wimey stuff.
Priest: Red, Life and healing type stuff but getting tenuous.
Hard to make much of a case for most other combos.
Hunters could go Red for Life but they are the ones shooting thousands of boars for Nessingway.
There is no Fel Dragon Flight so not sure Demon Hunters fit anywhere.
There is no Light Dragon Flight but I guess Red for Life comes close so an argument could be made for Paladins joining the Reds.
Rogues could go Black just because they got them cool daggers of Wrathion a few years ago but no real theme to why to join.
Warriors could go anywhere as they all need fighters to protect whatever it is they do.
My thinking was that none of the other ones fit at all. At least the Red flight has a sort of connection. Life, Death, Bolvar and Alexstrasza, and so on. But it’s not a perfect fit either.
No, it’s a relatively good fit considering none of the other flights have anything in common with DKs.
Black is about the elements, and the plain of earth most specifically.
Blue is about magic and the arcane.
Bronze is about time.
Green is about nature.
Red, again, is about Life and therefore has a natural connection with Death also. (We’ve just gone through an entire expansion harping on about the cycle of life and death, hello?)
Red was also most involved in Northrend, for example by cleansing the battlefield at the Wrathgate and creating Bolvar.
Now, obviously yes, there are issues between them given recent events, and like I said no flight is a perfect fit for DKs. But at least thematically, it’s the best fit we’ve got right now unless new lore appears to bridge the gap to other flights.
