Which healer is nicer and more interesting? PvP/PvE

Hi there.
Which one do you think? Monk, Rdruid or shaman? Pvp is interesting at an average level, Pve sometimes, with the possibility of DD

You don’t want priest or paladin?
Of the three, I would choose shaman - visually satisfying spells, ability to equip shields and fun DPS specs when tired of healing.

It depends on the style you want to play - more of a preventive or reactive healing style. I just like reactive one (you see low hp - you cast spell - HP bar is full now), so for me shaman is the best healer (sometimes a single healing surge just 20%->100% a person, feels so good).

Other people like preventive healing (shields/pre-hot) so they might choose disc or druid.

Just level all 3 from level 1 to max via dungeons, feel which playstyle you like and then stick to that one. Leveling from 1 to max is a great way to learn basics of the spec, and get a general feeling of how it is played.

Thanks for your answers. Priest and Pala is not for me.
What you say about a monk?

You should decide for yourself. We can’t decide what is “nicer” or “more interesting” for you.

Mistweaver Monks are very good and probably one of the most interesting healers. You’ll probably want to be in melee though for the best bank for your buck.

Druids are fun and have a large toolkit. They’re one of the most-played healers for good reason (despite the balance in this season being more challenging for Resto Druids than earlier in the expansion).

(I would throw Preservation Evoker into the mix too - it has a really fun play style which benefits from some of the planning of a Druid but with some whopping great big throughput.)

Only been playing Rdud and Disc / holy priest ,between the 2 I dont know ,I ll go for the dudu as I have more than 700 hundred hours played with him. Was asking the same question ,how would be Shammy or pala priest ,so I ve decided to build all of them and play mostly the ones which are not nerfed in that patch .Same goes for the tanks ,will build all tank classes in the end. So by the time u ll be done with your chosen healer ,I bet after some time u ll try other classes as well

As others said it’s up to you and your playstyle. I haven’t played MW Monk in a while but what I remember is that they’re great for single-target healing but struggle with multiple-target healing. Again: I haven’t played it in quite a while and I’ve yet to give fistweaving a shot.
For Resto Druids I hear they’re good at both single-target and multi-target healing, with the only drawback being that virtually all their healing spells are healing-over-time as opposed to insta-heal.
Resto Shamans just like Resto Druids are also great at single-target healing and multi-target healing, with their drawback being that (to me at least) their casting speeds seem a bit slow.
All three have great visuals and their own strengths and weaknesses, so it really depends on what sounds most fun to you.

Having tried all healing classes my favourite was Resto Shaman then Resto Druid.

If you wanna play the healer over a longer time R-Druid is the strongest healer on average of the three.

Otherwise be more specific

I’m leveling a monk for the first time, the class never appealed to me particularly but this expansion I’ve been leveling a few of the classes that never did and I liked m very much! Mistweaver is surprisingly fun, and very different from other healers I’ve played. It’ll take me a while to get the hang of fistweaving, but the fact there’s a lot to learn and understand is super interesting to me.

That said, it does seem that resto druid generally is a very safe pick, they’re usually at least in a decent, if not great spot. Besides that the class is chock full on useful abilities, and they have a unique vibe.

I’d level whatever you think is interesting and just experience for yourself tbh. It only really comes to life when you play something yourself, and you get to feel the flow of a class and spec. Whatever feels right to someone in that sense is quite personal

Preservation, if you like combo-playstyle!

Shaman is pretty simple to play. I love it and usually we are in a good spot as healers in content since SL

Out of those 3 I’d go elemental shaman.

Never really got on with monks, got to 50 with one once, then got bored with it.

Druids, fun at first, but constantly changing form, gets a bit tedious. Plus druids are generally races I don’t want to play. N. Elves are by far the worst race.

Shamans, having fun with that although only level 30 and fixed at that until I’ve done the world level 30 content. Better than a level 70 doing the old content, killing everything with one shot. The last time I played a Shaman was during BC.

If you’re not really sure which, play more than one. By the time you get to about 30 with each class, you should have a better idea which suits you best.
