Which is the best way to farm Azerite?

Hi guys,

I skipped BFA but I would like to catch up, or just experience the thing, so I decided to farm some Azerite to get my neck up in lvl, and get some powers too.

The question is, how I do it ?

I mean which is the best/fastest way to farm Azerite solo ?

Thanks

World Quests probably, every other source is group content.

No idea why you’d want to farm it though, there’s nothing to explore in that system beyond a number going up on your obsolete neckpiece… It’s not like the Garrison or Class Hall where you can do the questlines and the progression even years later and get an idea how it was designed, have some fun with the story and get some vaguely useful stuff. At this point, Azerite is just filling a bar for the sake of a number going higher and nothing else.

probably WQs is the easiest way, the story quest from magni rewards some, and (I think) BfA dungeon and raid bosses still drop it if you can solo them.

I highly highly recommend you NOT to do that.

Just forget about that expansion. If you want to do its contents, go check nazjatar or mechagon a bit. Try out the raid, dungeons with a small group or solo if you can.

DON’T go for azerite. Bad idea.

Actualy I found some zones and dungeons quiet cozy :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Exactly. If you don’t have to deal with the garbage systems of the expansion, the rest is fine.

Stick to those. don’t go after the garbage part.

Or try out the horrific visions if you’re that interested in grinding. At least you get a mount for clearing both cities with 5 masks.

is someone gonna tell him or should I tell him?

World Quests is the best way to farm Azerite. Doing dungeons/raids might also be efficient if you can solo them.

If you skipped BFA you really do not need azerite. You do need the cloak to have access to the visions if you want to farm for the mount and other items, but other than that I would not farm azerite, its not worth your time.

What to tell me ? open_mouth:

Just to be fair - some bits of HoA-related questlines are HoA ilv-gated. Not much of a ā€œstoryā€, compared to the class hall, but still. I mean those Heart empowering and essense-related quests from Magni&Co.

I read the title and immediately got flashbacks of the awful grind Azerite was. And how mandatory it was for you to farm your neck level, in order to use the gear you were arbitrarily given by RNG.

God please no more…

There were some catch up quest that took your hoa right to level 50 wasnt it? When you go to nazjatar i think.

As far as I remember azerite just falls on you whatever you do. WQ are the best though - make sure to do emissaries as they can grant ~2000 for completing 4 quests.

This. But I think it was level 35? Grinding Azerite below that is not useful, because you get a HUGE infusion in one short quest chain that will wipe out all previous amounts.

You will find a guide to Nazjatar here: https://www.wowhead.com/guides/comprehensive-nazjatar-guide#how-to-get-to-nazjatar

Yes, they are. the zone stories are decent on both Alliance and Horde sides, the zones are pleasant - something that Blizzard must have hated, because we see what they did in Shadowlands - and Drustvar is outstanding, both for story and atmosphere.

You can also earn flying there. It will probably be given for free next expansion, but it’s something else to do. Get your reps up with the three zones to unlock the Flight Master’s Whistle in KT first in https://www.wowhead.com/quest=51918/uniting-kul-tiras It’ll make travelling a lot more convenient.
