I’m a frost mage and I have used the Wowhead talent build so far, but I’m wondering if the one on icy veins is better. I certainly never use mage armour, so… Wowhead has a good build I have used so far, but so does icy veins have.
Note: I am unable to post links… The builds are pretty easy to find on icy veins and wowhead. They’re in their general leveling guide.
For levelling it simply doesn’t matter. Make your own build and then look at optimal ones when you hit max level.
Currently I am level 80. My account shows level 68 sadly.
On lvl 80 I would suggest you going into FFB build, then changing TTW fire standart as frost deals way less damage and is considered defencive leveling and PvP build, but Cata prepatch and Cata itself is month away from us, so it doesn’t matter. Once you would finish leveling in Cata go for arcane as raiding build, the swith to fire as amount of crit on your gear would increase.
But you mentioned builds in the leveling guides. If you’re 80 you should be looking at the endgame builds which are completely different.
