Which race to choose for a Protection Warrior

I don’t know which one I want to main in Dragonflight, I need some thoughts of other people which race they play as a Protection Warrior, I’m thinking of Lightforged Draenei or Human.

Tauren or Orc.

Oh wait you’re going the lesser faction…

Or Dwarf, the Stoneform racial is actually one if not the best defensive racial.

Okay, thank you. I want to try the Horde but I’ve been playing the Alliance for too long and don’t feel like changing. If I do I will join another server that would be more populated and related to PvP

If you want to pvp on prot warr, go Human.
Since Orc’s are nerfed they are the new “OP” race.
Night Elf’s shadowmeld doesn’t do anything for warriors, so human for PvP :slight_smile:

You dont need people tell you what to play. Listen to your inner class fantasy. Mine is a fat fluffy panda looks extra meaty wearing full bodied plate armors.

Nothing, except deselecting and disappearing at the most important time.

protwarr → normal dwarf
also playing dps or like to farm transmogg/mounts or youre a blacksmith ? → di dwarf

U can shado melt some caster cc, its not usless, but yea human is better , also gnome

I like taurens because tauren warrior is a classic combo. Very old school for me to be a tauren.

Alliance: Human and Dwarf

Horde: Orc and Tauren

I mean you cant go more iconic than these duos

Any race you want.
Unless you’re playing in like top tier guild worldwide which i doubt, you don’t need to worry about that math wise.

However if you’re asking more like lore wise, then ofc Orcs and Dwarfs number 1, following with Human and Tauren 2nd place, 3rd place may be taken by Trolls and Worgen.

But you can go any race you want. It doesn’t really matter for me, you and around 99,75% of playerbase world wide.

As someone else said: up to you unless you are a hardcore one. I like my night elf and the racial dodge helped me a few times actually :blush:

Kul Tiran Male if you’re Alliance. Easily the best looking plate character.
