Rep grinds can be tedious, I’m sure most would agree. Well the 50% rep buff is a great time to speed those up. After all 3/2 the rep means 2/3 of the time required.
This is especially good for classic reps which don’t have a TW event, or BFA and later reps which don’t have a TW event yet.
Personally I got the Bloodsail exalted (hey it counts for your total exalted reps), and now I want to get back up with the Steamwheedle Cartel without ruining said Bloodsail rep.
Maybe I’ll combine it with the MoP TW to get some super grind on a MoP rep, I’m not sure yet.
So how about you? Any reps you’re doing/want to do/already done?
Edit: and BTW yes this does count for friendship reps. Since those aren’t affected by TW bonuses now is a good time to get those too.
After I finished my 9th lvl 70 I thought I was done for good. Yet as I’m now levelling my druid that is lvl 48 already it seems like I was wrong, as always.
I wanted to grind the Niffen but that is not included, so I’m not interested. I also don’t feel like playing through the story on yet another alt. I’ll pass. I wish they enabled Chromie up to level 70 if someone already has a level 70 character. It would be so much more fun! It would add more variety.
It is still a good event for those who are into levelling alts or getting rep for whatever reason.
Demon Hunter - Court of Farondis and the Deeamweavers to revered in order to raise two legion factions to revered and get the class order hall boots (which look like hooves and are great for demon hunter mogs).
Blood elf Warrior - I’m revered on Shattered Sun for the tabard so I’m on my way to finishing that whilst also I managed to use the buff and the current time walking to get revered with the Sunreaver Onslaught. I play a lot of blood elves so I wanted some tabard options.
After, I’m going to go finish my Legionfall rep for the cool tabard and Wrynn’s vanguard for my humans!
Edit: Just wanted to say I’m now exalted with Sunreavers and Shattered Sun 4 hours after posting! What a fun Sunday morning for WoW.
I prepared for the rep gains by spending the week before gathering netherwing eggs. Turned them in when the event started and hit exalted with the netherwing which is awesome.
I bought some medallion of the legion on the AH to get exalted with the wod reps. Super quick and easy that one.
Im currently working on the ogri’la rep, while questing through wrath passively getting those reps up.
As discussed in another thread, I too am doing this. Although I think I may have broken Booty Bay (it’s stuck phased despite abandoning the quest) so I’m going to leave it at 11999/12000 Honoured and move onto Steamweedle.
I’ve already got the 100 Exalted achievement so I don’t need Bloodsail Exalted, I don’t think there is any other reward for getting it - I was going to do it just for something to do.
