As per the title. What animal would you compare it to, if you had to choose?
I don’t think there’s anything that can be compared with it, as it is such an alien look.
I don’t know of any quadruped animal that walks up straight while still being on all of it’s 4 legs.

Well, I pick the Latin (or Greek) genus names for my pets, if it is appropriate. I have a Smilodon, Stegosaurus, Deinonychus etc., and mythological names for fantasy beasts or just plain fitting names from popular culture, if no classical genus name applies. Hell, I even found an article about an ostrich robot named Cassie designed on a university in the US for my Mechanostrider.
You get the idea. I sort of had the same problem with Silithids as with Ravagers, since there’s no real world comparison for the beast, which is seemingly heavily inspired by the Bugs from “Starship Troopers”.
That is, until I found an article about a genus of mantis, which actually resembled it the movie Bug a bit, so I picked that.
I’d be willing to go along with a Draenor Ravager. Come to think of it, those do have a rather SC Lurker-esque look to it. Google claims that a possible Latin term for “lurker” would be “Insidiator”.
Insidiator… hmm. I’ve heard worse, even though it’s not even a real thing…
