What specs do you use on your Druid. I like to play Moonkin Form and it does Little more damage than Feral Druid. Feral would be nice to give a try maybe, but i don’t Think it is so easy to play that class cause of low DPS.
Feral is middle of the pack at best currently, and Balance is above that by quite a decent margin. So whoever told him that knew what they were talking about.
Imo feral is quite stronger than bala, but much harder, if you are average with druid u will do better with bala, but if you are raly good, go feral, ive had few in m+ and i was amazed with their dmg.
To topic, bear all the way cuz im tank, and also i like bears
At what content? Raids or M+ because Feral’s damage is upper tier in M+ . Its all about the content and the context man.
Balance is a powerhouse in ST fights but lacks a lot in AOE situations, and Feral is super powerful in AOE, having no cap in the dps it can produce during these fights, and semi-decent in ST.
To the OP, I always played Guardian and Feral in M+ content since the beginning of the expansion, mixing some Resto for PvP. I hate Balance.
I play all specs, as i enjoy them all in different content.
Though i strive to be capable in all of them in all content.
Boomie has its strengths in ST mainly currently, but is automatically also decent at aoe, due to their multidotting. (starfall was nerfed, and general st buffed. To balance out the spec).
Feral is just in all content, though can easily get outpicked by boomie due to the utility difference. (Just fine ST and AOE in all content) The rotation might be confusing to some, and that can affect your dps. But it’s not a bad dps spec at all, just have a look at the logs.
Resto is in and incredible good play right now, though getting some “minor” nerfs in the coming patch. Basically undisputed king of m+ as it stands currently.
Guardian is a playable state currently, though is missing a niche to make the gameplay more interessting. Not that it is bad to play, cause you can definitely play all content as it. Though some specs can do it better.
