Not achievement per se, but I’m pretty chuffed about the variety of my characters’ names.
Just browsing the character list makes me happy.
I started a fresh account and now have 4 alts level 70…
The master plan was to main one, but everything went downhill really fast.
I have had my little triumphs in the game, I guess, but they don’t really amount to much.
I’d have to say how many people I have helped by posting. According to the forum stats, just my top 6 links have had over 20,000 visitors, my pet guides and tips over 10,000, and I hope they all found what they were looking for,
Fair enough
Priorities.
I don’t even do dungeons. I did when my oldest was 3 years old, but my life was very different back then, and then I had spare time + the interest in raiding. Now it cost to much IRL to even do a dungeon. Had the same when my second was born. Could get back into it when he was older and had more steady sleep.
So not, it’s not excuses, it’s priorities for most people. If it’s too costly to other aspects of your life that you keep above it, you generally won’t do it. Same goes the other way around, if it’s very important to you to e.g. raid, you will find a way to make it work(and it helps having an understanding partner).
In my case, my other half raids. We can’t both do it, but we can make it work that one of us do.
“Excuses” is a negative therm by those who do not agree with other people’s priorities, to feel a bit above others. Which you kinda actually said you do.
Good for you that you make it work, by all means. I’ve done the same myself many years ago, and it worked out. Just leave the word excuses behind, because you just have different priorities than those who don’t.
I despise anything PvP related, its just not my thing, but to this day, the Field Marshall plate set is, in my oppinion still the coolest armor set in the game, and i am proud of myself for reaching 1800 rbg rating and unlocking it, in spite of being terrible at pvp.
Getting the rank 11 lieutenant general rank back in vanilla in this character.
I never had enough gold, so I decided to get the epic mounts offered by the PVP vendor. They didn’t required 1200g training to be used.
I was always stuck helping others in this guild, back in Vanilla. My end game was a bitter one: no set, completed and no epics.
I got everything from PVP.
Blue PVP set from rank 10 and a couple of epics from being exalted with the WSG faction and Defiler’s.
Honourable mention for the; Defiler’s tabard back in vanilla and Shattered sum offensive tabard during TBC. I did the Shattered offensive reputation grind, to exalted twice. On my Forsaken Priest and this character, during TBC. I tried to grind it again iny UK account, a couple of years ago but I ran out of patience.
Cheers.
