What’s going on, can you explain what’s happening to Firemaw?
I could guess that the horde are leaving as they are outnumbered and running away like cowards. It’s a well known fact that the Horde hate being the low population faction on a PvP realm.

Horde on Firemaw can take a free character transfer to Razorgore.
For some reason Razorgore also has a free character transfer to Gehennas which is the biggest Horde faction on EU currently.
Free character transfers have no restrictions so there is no cooldown or gold restrictions, letting you go from the second biggest horde pop (for now) to the highest horde pop with no downsides.
If this is left alone pretty much every Horde will leave turning Firemaw into mono alliance or if this gets fixed now the remaining Horde would be rightfully pissed that they missed their chance to leave.

I see, so it is run away now or be left behind outnumbered 3:1 once (if) Blizzard fixes it.
I dare that undead rogue show his face here who keeps repeating that only Alliance runs away from outnumbered PvP servers if given the choice.
Edit: right, and Gehennas can get locked any moment as it spills over 30k mark. By Elune, I can’t lie, it’s a hard thing to resist, be left outnumbered badly on dying faction, or get into biggest pop in EU that can be locked any second. No wonder they run. Poor sods.

Was already happening over the last 2-3 months. Went from a 15-85 to a 60-40 2 weeks ago. Don’t know the numbers now but it’ll probally be at a 70-30 rate (or worse)…
I don’t think its a secret the Horde players didn’t even participate alot of wPvP anyway, so it’s only logical why they’d migrate to Gehennas. Especially because it’s free now!
Gehennas was already the home off alot of ex-Firemaw guilds that migrated over because a lack off new blood too recruit etc…
Let the horde leave.
Berny always alone in world pvp. Hordes pass by and never help anyway.
Berny stay and smash enemy.

A bug? Maybe that is a well planned move to unload Firemaw? Blizzard were sick of server management issues and opened a safety valve for all Horde to leave and population pressure to vaporise away.
Nah. Your layers #24 will be in queue because Alliance would have only 20 layers. And we will be at HvH wPvP solution gates.

Blizzards server management is pooperino. Giving ppl means to transfer characters, even paid ones, is one of the reasons why there are tons of servers problem, ofc its not the only problem because

Its also gamers stupidity they choose to destroy servers by transfers.

Gehennas has a queue today, while Firemaw does not (hasn’t since the lock). Gehennas has pretty much never had a queue during TBC, despite being the 2nd highest population… Blizzard has royally screwed this up.
Letting the remaining 34 players on Razergore move to Gehennas was an act of mercy, letting over 10,000 players use that as a loophole to move from Firemaw was pure incompetence.
