No. The complaint is constant, yet they ignore it.
Even in concept art we were shown wearing evoker tier sets in dragon form. It’s so goofy and funny how unfinished the lizards are. I’m embarrassed on Blizzards behalf, honestly.
Thanks for all the responses. I kinda expected it from the modern blizzard. Oh well, back to metal classes then.
Yeah I mean the Human form does look cool, but the Dragon form is very… unfortunate… Now some maybe like it, but I’m not one of them. Though I think it could easily look cooler, if they increased the head size, made the legs shorter as an option, and gave a wider option for the upper body. Currently it just looks too much like human, and not enough like Dragon.
But yeah, mechanically it’s a great class I think.
My favourite when I complained about this at the start of DF, lots of people tried to argue and tell me to “just play a Blood Elf/Human” as a way to alternatively ‘fix’ being an ugly dragon, even though I said I loved the class but hated the way a Dracthyr looks.
But even then there are ways to make you stay in permanent Visage and it being fine, but Blizz isn’t doing it. :>

If they removed aug, since the game is clearly not ready for its existence, put a tank spec and make it a badass dragon, I bet many more ppl would like it. And we could have a choice to either support the woke california dream or look reasonably in our fantasy game.
Ofcourse this had to turn into a #removeaug and #stopwokeness topic and probably never had the intention of being something else. Moving on.

Yeah it has been a consistent complain since the release of the class/race. Either devs are that out of touch with reality or its being done on purpose.
This topic is about it being fugly and asking for help to make it better. Why are you here trying to start a drama you dont want to have? Just move on, if you dont want the drama. The purpose of this class is more than obvious. Its pointless to argue it.

With the next patch, visage form will be off the gcd, meaning you can instantly go back into visage after casting a dragon ability. Unfortunately it doesnt seem possible to automate that with a macro, but its something at least.
To each their own. Ive always been a fan of the form and would never try to use my humanoid visage form. Doesnt fit the class fantasy

its the reason i stopped caring for my evoker
ive benched himn and he no longer has a side in the campfire on my character select screen
i just cant play a class i cant see my tmogs
if blizzard fix it, i might pick him up again, like you , i like the class but HATE the look
- its a shame tbh, even a little thing like a Glyph could fix evokers to be in combat in visage form

I dont even need a permanent visage form - just give us the option to automatically switch back into visage after casting a dragon ability. A glyph for permanent visage form would be ideal of course, especially since the casting animations are already there.
Its just disappointing that such a fun class is locked behind this awful race
Just like a demon hunter. You use the ability that requires a draconic body and then you instantly turn back
