Since the patch I am getting my private messages automatically opening a new tab on my chat window with the person’s name at the top of the tab. Is this a feature of the new patch or is something else wrong? I am not using any addons so I know it’s not because of that. Is anyone else experiencing this? My friends say their whispers aren’t doing this. I have no idea how to sort this out. If someone messages me I can’t always swap to someone else on the ‘reply to’ keybind as that doesn’t work it stays on the same person. I have to keep typing the name of the person I want to send the whisper to. It’s very annoying. Anyone know why this is happening?

If you did Exile’s Reach with tutorial mode on, it will have changed your settings

I purposely have my setting to put whispers in a separate window so I stop missing them 
Its always been an option though. Maybe they changed it to be the default in prepatch.

I have a separate tab all whispers go into. Is much easier to find them. I found the multiple tabs awful when doing Exile’s xD

Thank you for the replies. I found the options in social thank you so much. Yes I did Exiles Reach it must have reset there. Really annoying… but at least it’s fixed now. Glad I asked here. Thanks again. Also nice to learn something new after all these years!
