I’m not surprised that you have to reacquire the items after the patch but I’m a bit disappointed with that solution.
I think they should’ve made them known by default.
So many lost items because one didn’t keep them in the bank for 16 years and running around to every vendor, genociding lvl 4 mobs for random drops and doing every quest on every armor/weapon/class combination again after doing it for the green quality transmogs years back is neither fun nor engaging gameplay imo.
Still neat though.
Time to stock up on a couple good white transmogs! Mainly Sun Cured set comes to mind, from the belf starting area - will be fitting for my rogue!
I’d also wager that the original starting pieces (that you automatically had equipped when you rolled a new toon in Classic) will also skyrocket in price.
Ah! Happy days. I’ll have to roll a new hunter when it arrives to get stuff. Yay! (No sarcasm)

The next step would be to make it so we can collect appearances even for armor classes outside of our class armor type for use for alts who can equip that other armor
I would play so many classes if that was a thing. I always think about playing my warlock or maybe even a rogue but when i remember that i love farming plate tmog, i just stop and go back to my dk.
They should definitely reward quest mogs based on past completion since those are tracked.
Random world drops are impossible to track and giving them to all would defeat the purpose of the system in my opinion.

Oh finally! I can finally use my Pandaren starter robes that I keep since 2012! I’m so happy! 
Even Sendrax is happy! 
Does anyone know when the patch goes live?
Lazy, they need to use quest completion stats to auto populate these.
