If you have the Deathlog it will show this or similar text. You can adjust I believe in that specific addon settings.
Ive disabled all addons and it still appears whenever someone dies wherever in Azeroth
Hardcore death channel - it’s one of the global ones - leave it.
Sorry, this will only make that same text appear/disappear in your chat. To make the white text on your screen go away: Go to UI, search for “Death”, and set Hardcore Death Alerts to “Never”
For some reason even if disabled in settings that very setting doesn’t stay like that. Can’t tell for sure as I’m still trying to test various scenarios but on zone changes, character swap or reloading interface a new death announce pops up. Had the Deathlog addon and uninstalled it. Tbh I’m so desperate that rn I’m looking for some addon that can supress that fkn message in mid screen.
I had it the other way around for a long time. No matter what I did, it was disabled on next log in/character swap. Must be something Blizz’s end. And it stays for FAR too long in too big letters. I hope you find a solution - mine was luckily to disable the Blizz one and only keep Deathlog.
No it’s a chat channel. Death log is a separate notification
