Hi.
After starting the game, the window of the game pops up, but then it just stays white. Whenever I try to do something else it stops responding and just closes itself. It started after the Shadowlands prepatch.

List your PC specs. Update your video card drivers.
same problem, everything is updated.
the problem occurs 90% of the time.
Re-instalaling the game works for me.

Same happened to me.
I figured, it is an DX12 issue.
I added “-d3d11” (without the quotes) to the launch options and it just starts fine now.

were do you add this “-d3d11”?

Go to Settings\Game Settings in BN launcher and make sure “additional command line arguments” box is checked. Just put -d3d11 there. I had the same issue recently on a laptop and this solution worked fine for me.

Thanks. It worked and the game launched. Then it said my graphics were outdated, so I guess in the end that was my problem. I can start the app now without the flag.
