White screen after pre-release

My game was working perfectly fine last night. This morning it updated with the pre-release content for Dragonflight. Ever since this happened I can’t make the game work, all I get when I hit PLAY, is a white screen but I hear music. I have tried every solution I found, from deleting the cache, wtf and Interface folders, to try the -d3d11 command, to changing computer and NVIDIA settings, I even reinstalled the damn game and nothing. I opened a ticket and of course, no reply as usual.

What am I supposed to do now?

Same problem…i run only one time after lauch pre patch but all next failed…

I have the same problem too. Tried all the technical support “solutions” none of them worked! I re installed the game, still white screen, then “Not Responding” and crash. I can run classic no problem though! Also, the game launches no problem from another pc in the house but not mine!
I don’t know what to do.

Anyone know how fix ?

I have tried everything I found and everything I could think of to no avail. I had just resubbed a week ago too, which pisses me off. Money flushed down the toilet.

Me too. After the update Wow plays in a white screen with music and the glove/cursor shows up. Even waited several minutes but nothing changed…

/console GxAllowCachelessShaderMode 0
/reload

BTW u played on Golemagg WotLK classic with same nickname?

If you’re talking about me, yes, I did. But I just deleted the character in a rage after finding out that Classic works just fine, but not retail.

Where do you use that command?

No, not u, it was reply to Chrupeczka’s post. Just type it in-game chat.

Yeah Golemagg wotlk but 3 weeks ago i transfer my character to another realm.
Dont know why all people remember my nickname haha its not easy but they remember yayahah

Dude…if u’re from Poland that’s why, u should remember me xD DK in horde on golemagg in big guild and same nickname like here.

Bump topic.
Same problem here. Any solution to the problem?

I haven’t found anything so far :frowning:

But my guess is that my video card became “ancient”. And my second guess is that I either buy a new laptop, or my retail days are over.
