Any of my new gear (and also gems) that shows +Spell Power or +Hit Rating with white text instead of green text are not showing the stats addition on my Character Info ©. Is this a visual bug? Anyone else having any problem with it?

I also have the same problem with my gear. From what I can see from a few tests, it looks like it does not calculate the white stats spell power into dmg when casting spells either.
No. Those stats do not affect your character at all, atm.
You can unlock them by paying for the ‘substat pass’ in the in-game shop soon. That will be released along with the guildbank and LFG expansions.
