I was watching the new The War Within Date Announce cinematic and saw some characters I didn’t know. These characters:
I’d like to think I’ve seen all WoW cinematics but kinda doubting myself now. Does anyone know if these are from past cinematics? If yes, which ones? Or is it just new footage and new characters?
The one armed lady is Faerin Lothar, a Member of the Arathi-Empire located on the other side of Azeroth, she traveled to Khaz- Algar 15 Years ago with the Hallowfall-Expeditio.
The “Forest Troll” is Orwenya, a member of the so called “Harronir”, a Race that tends to the roots and groves of Khaz-Algar.
They are new characters being introduced with TWW, this was just our first view of them in a cinematic. Althoug we have gotten information on them from posts before

I was sure the latter was a na’vi and was wondering if we were getting an Avatar crossover.
I wonder why they highlighted her so much? She will probably play a major role in next expansion, probably more than Alleria or Jaina (cause we haven’t seen them in this cinematic). Why would they do that otherwise?
Stunning and brave “diverse” half elf half human.
Think they will try connect the half breed to the Lothar bloodline.
At least they did not give it the Killmonger dreads haircut.
It’s possible it’s just to showcase the new material as we have seen alot of alleria and jaina so they thought “Let’s show of some of the new stuff”, and I gotta say, I would love to have those trolls as playable races, their druid orms owuld look sooo cool
While everyone is losing their sh*ts over the new character, I am looking forward to learning more about that Navi-looking character.
