Who forgot to add Shatter for Enchanters?

Most of the things with professions made some sense at the start at least BUT:

The one thing that baffles me is that every profession creates rare gear, and still enchanting has no shatter crystal/shard like previous expansions.
This resulted in blue shards being worthless (20-40 g), while storm dust is one of the most lucrative reagents (150-200 g) and the best thing to get from satchel/dirt farms.

So in our scenario, why exactly do we not have the option to shatter blue shards into dust? This would make professions as a whole better, instead of this bottleneck we have now.

Isn’t it part of the knowledge tree? I’m pretty sure I saw a greyed out shatter I’ve not learnt yet.

Unless it’s something else. I didn’t look at it in any great detail as I can’t go into that tree atm.

I also saw but it is just a way to get a buff for your crafting, it does not actually shatter the reagent into smaller ones.

Unfortunately there does not seem to be a way to convert blue shards into dust.

Kinda screws the people who invested many KP into disenchanting for dust.

After 2 weeks of making money from that I do not feel that bad for those. Also it is pretty obvious at this point that there is not enough sources of dust for the market to balance out.

Any other base material is in the 20-30g range, while dust sits at 3x-5x the price.

The mains that specced into DE will still get value from DE their items through playing, while alts can easily respec profs.

I am amazed the profession went live without the ability to shatter.
