Who is stronger? Sylvanas or Xal'Atath?

Xal’Atath i would say. She has ‘full access’ into the void to say like that.

Sylvanas is no longer the character she once was. Gone is the cold, ruthless tactician who would stop at nothing to ensure the survival and dominance of the Forsaken. Now, she appears more conflicted, burdened by guilt and self-pity for the monstrous deeds she committed as an undead. Blizzard has ruined her and what made her appealing to the majority of fans.

Xal’atath is an unapologetic sadist, reveling in manipulation to achieve her desires with unrestrained glee. There’s no “bigger evil made me do it” excuse—she’s like a twisted version of the Silver Surfer who relishes her work. I applaud Blizzard for creating a character who genuinely enjoys her malevolence. Xal’atath isn’t just a Void Elf; she’s an eldritch entity who delights in playing with mortal lives like pawns on a chessboard, relishing the consumption of both innocent and guilty souls alike.

However, there’s a strong chance she’ll end up as yet another misunderstood character, forcing us to feel sympathy so Blizzard can push the narrative that the power of family, friendship, hope, or peace can conquer all. This approach is a reminder of why the Warcraft writing team often kills faith in the story.

Sylvanas without the Jailer feeding her power isn’t impressive power-wise. So definitely Xal’atath.

Until he goes near any goblin areas and is overwhelmed by the pollution. Unless you mean the Don Cheadle version in which case we can only hope that there are woodpeckers somewhere in the WOW multiverse.

Funny you should say that… in the open quest/video replace Xal’s name with Arthas and Sylvanas for Alleria and you got the same plot and words :stuck_out_tongue:

Xal’Atath, she did the uno reverse on Khadgar without much effort. I doubt Sylvanas would be able to stand inside Khadgar’s laser beam attack and then be like “lol is that it”.

Xal’Atath by a country mile! Sylvanas was never anything special in terms of cosmic power until she jumped into bed with the Jailor.

I would even say Alleria is probably more powerful than she is now!

I guess whoever Blizzard wanted to win.

But, we haven’t really seen that much of Xal’Atath’s fighting abilities, so hypothetically, it is hard to make a fair assessment.

Xalatath by a lot. Sylvanas didnt seem that powerful to me, she was just good at scheming and a good pet.

Sylvanas got murdered by 20 cold-blooded, blood-thirsty, loot-wanting dudes. Xal’atath did not. Yet. Plus, she speaks of her past so highly that I think she was stronger than the Old Gods even. Whilst Sylvanas was naught but a failure and got owned by Jailer, whom we killed later on.

Sylvanas at her most powerful wasn’t losing to anything; her plot armour was insanely strong. Having said that, Xal’atath is no joke either. I think this would be a lot closer than most people think if it was peak Sylvie vs current Xal.
