It’s certainly not me, as a M+ player who pugs heroic for the occasional raid item the changes to the myth track are absolutely atrocious. I don’t understand why blizzard is going back on the amazing philosophy they had on gear in dragonflight.
Anyway, I was going through wowhead to see if blizzard had addressed the myriads of complaints about these changes and what do I find? An article telling me the gear from M+ is going to cap out at 1/6 hero instead. I honestly feel whoever’s greenlighting these changes is completely out of touch with their demographic. I’d wager 90% of players do not play mythic, I’d also wager the majority of players looking for a PvE challenge are looking for it in M+, how come we’re being treated like second class citizens in our own content?
Either seperate gearing for M+/raids or make it so we have more ways to get myth track gear, someone clearing 17’s deserves more than 610 base gear with a chance at an upgrade every week. I actually can’t believe blizzard is making these changes. The gearing system was PERFECT in DF, it was honestly the best thing about this expansion, being able to play an alt at any point during the expansion felt amazing. I don’t think I would’ve kept playing if I couldn’t play alts this expansion. I’ve pushed multiple characters to 3400/3500, characters I’ve never played before. That’s not going to happen next expansion, good luck changing characters in the middle of the season, you’re not going to catch up. Especially if you don’t mythic raid.
Hopefully someone at blizzards understands this, because I honestly think they don’t have a clue.
No, but they dropped gear that wasn’t far off of myth track gear, the difference between fully upgraded hero and myth track gear was only 6 ilvls, that’s going to be 13 next season.
This pretty much means that you’re going to have to raid to do high M+ next expansion.
Dragonflights systems and way things worked was almost perfect im not to sure why blizzard felt the need to make these changes myself i dont think its a good thing.
Also the raid and dungeon items seem uninspiring ;/ like where are the cool items that people are gonna want to go and farm i cant see many if any
The changes they are bringing to tanking, healing and mythic+ have me dreading the next season. I am not excited at all.
Blizz devs can be so frustrating. Things were looking up with DF, but we are jumping back into the crapper. It will be shadowlands again. Launching a terrible base game and spending the following patches fixing everything they broke for no reason.
Again, with all feedback being given and ignored. I suppose there won’t be a preach interview this time though.
I mean a new expansion is always exciting, but it has put a damper on my excitement for sure. I was so happy when I didn’t have to mythic raid anymore, I simply hate being tied to a schedule at specific times in the week. Mythic raiding is fun, but every time I take a break from it I feel relief. I’m still hoping blizzard will do something nice for M+'ers, but I highly doubt it.
some peoples’ ideas are beyond terrible, imagine having 40 slots taken by gear, maybe also add special quest gear that is only important in open world… facepalm
it’s just so dumb, you clearly have low experience with the game, don’t do both (raids and m+) or even pvp and it shows, your achi points explain why you come up with such “GENIUS” ideas
