I’m very curious what DH got new void spec. Is it dps or tank…
For now it’s speculation. Not confirmed.
I think I’m curious if we do get a void-hunter spec, will Void elves and Nightborne have access to the Demon Hunter class?
But make note:
The Illidari in question is one of the raid bosses in the Karesh raid…so…?
Honestly, I dont think I am. Housing is something I am interested in but the overall direction of the game going forward is not something I want to be part of.
I play the game 24/7 once I’m max level. I spam arenas. I love that more than any other game I’ve ever played.
I hoped when non-elf DH races. I wanted troll as DH :(. Since I’m tired look DH only elves.
Well, then the level boost is there. Right?
So you can skip all the other stuff. If that’s how you want to play the game.
I skip lots of stuff too: PvP, M+, raiding beyond LFR. All not for me.
I’m already level 70 on 5 different monks.
It’s the 10 new levels they add each expansions I have to suffer through.
Midnight, not one bit.
I’ve been severely disappointed by every expansions since legion (which was just moderately disappointing ^^).
I don’t get retail hyped anymore.
Hopefully there’s some classic+ or tbc news packed in with the “few additional surprises”.
Great, I’m glad it clicked for you.
For me, I think it’s just general fatigue at this point. The magic isn’t really there anymore in that part of the game.
But here’s the thing: I still care deeply about WoW. I like to compare it to the lifelong partner, you’ve been through so much together, you still love them deeply, even if they’ve developed quirks and old habits that drive you up the wall. And walking away would feel wrong, because there’s still meaning even when things don’t feel great.
Midnight probably won’t break the leveling pattern, that’s sort of expected, but I mean, I’m not not going to level
Drama queen.
Spam dungeons if you dislike leveling so much. Hell… Go do pvp.
It’ll be slow, but you’ll be doing something you like. Right?
I cant wait much longer!
I feel like Blizzard have kind of spoiled their own party.
I mean, we already know it’s Midnight, so there’s not much of a surprise to be had.
And they’ve also revealed their big feature as well – Housing. People have even play-tested it already!
Metzen have already given the pitch for the expansion, so short of spoiling what’s going to happen, we pretty much know that we’ll be in Quel’thalas and we’ll have a showdown between The Light and The Void.
And at this point Blizzard seem to have their expansion production down to a formula, so barring any disappointments we’ll get 1 Raid with 8 bosses, 8 new Dungeons, 4-5 zones centered around Quel’thalas, likely ~5 Delves, and a shared story campaign with some highlighted NPCs.
It’s a bit weird given that Blizzard have usually tried to keep everything a secret with regards to previous expansion announcements.
At last Blizzcon, even though they were announcing The War Within, it felt like Blizzard were more excited to announce Midnight and The Last Titan. And even throughout all of The War Within, it has felt like some yada yada stuff we just have to get through, in order to get to Midnight. It feels like a lot of players are just waiting for Midnight and that Blizzard themselves have spent just as much time hyping Midnight up as they have spent on actually hyping The War Within that we are playing.
Hopefully Blizzard can really deliver with Midnight. It’s often been said before that x expansion is make or break, but it does feel like Blizzard and players alike have a lot of hope invested in Midnight.
We’ll see. I hope they tease Elune or something major like that, just to fuel the hype.
No one. New expansions are slop
I hope midnight delivers a more old school warcrafty medieval vibe. Havent felt that since legion/ maybe some bfa. But yes the cool factor is important. It kinda lacked so far in Tww, imo.
But maybe a revamped quel thalas, silvermoon, ghostlands, tirisfal, undercity.
Hopefully wars and clashes with forest trolls vs elves. Scarlet crusade, lordaeron, light vs shadow theme. All this could be really cool.
They’re going to announce something that we already know about. Well I’m excited.
Let’s be fair… the ONLY thing people are excited about is the housing.
Bastion. I was sitting with my hand on my chin tapping it with a finger saying “well…”
Maldraxxus I loved. The music. The atmosphere. Death everywhere.
Ardenweald. People loved it. I destested it. Disneyfied over sentimental slop.
Revendreth. Again. People loved it. I hated it. I was expecting Christopher Lee to burst out of a coffin with a black cape on at any moment.
The Maw. Such a wasted opportunity.
The story. Again we see Blizzard just do not know how to write, especially if it’s an expansion that focuses on their darling Sylvanas.
Is she good… Is she bad… No lets make her morally grey… AKA. We don’t know what to do with her even though we should have killed her off ages ago.
The Big bad of the expac, The Jailor. A hideous exercise in “how not to retcon”, and to further rub salt into the wounds, Blizzard killed off one of their most iconic characters ever by reducing him to a small fart of blue smoke, and still HAD to make it about Sylvanas.
It had it’s moments, but it really was a terrible expansion compared to others.
Same. Mild anticipation, yes, but any form of “excitement” at the earliest when the release patch is fully downloaded and I´m starting my end of expansion bank cleaning.
Ehm, welcome to 2004, I guess? WoW has always been catered towards casual and solo players more than any other MMO, it was actually one of the major selling points when it was released… (mostly) soloable questing all the way until maxlevel, no xp loss on death…
Hyped? No. Curious? Yes i guess…
