They seem to be able to hold both Vale and Uldum under control 24/7 while, according to their War Mode buff, being heavily outnumbered. It seems that 1 alliance player can easily take on 3-4 horde players. Why is that all the pro-league PvPers play alliance nowadays?

Depends on the connected realms, for me I cant complete invasions during any peak times because there are too many alliance yet they still get the 25% buff.

WPvP is full random.
It depends on what shard you gonna play.
Either 40 Alliance vs 5 Horde or vice versa.
You cant tell a lot about one faction being better compared to other because of WPvP.
Only if you take a look at PvP ladder (ranked) you will find out which faction is better.

Everything is based on who dominating shard you are on.
Because horde is now full of alliance faction changers who once already failed in alliance and are now hoping for easier time on horde. All while the remaining population of alliance war mode players are grizzled veterans that have been playing against overwhelming odds since day 1 of the expansion. Or it could just be based on the shard that you are on.

all i have noticed was BfN on a alt just now
horde had only 1 raid alliance maybe 4 or 5 and plenty of lag
it was a loss people just abandon flags to be taken by the enemy raid/s

Sorry, only seen a handful of players attack solo in bfa, so no idea what you’re talking about. Definitely not anyone going 1 vs 3-4 and winning.
It’s just a logical conclusion. Alliance dominates both current outdoor areas, and if it’s not a numerical advantage, it’s gotta be skill.

To be fair wpvp in levelling zones is the worst for the alliance. Up to 40 level 120 horde players in stv alone so they can gank without any regrets. Wanna know the best part about that? All the alliance duelling snowflakes do nothing about it so when I want revenge for any character I’m levelling I have to go there and use tactics to redirect them around the map to pick off single targets, to get the player you have the grudge against is the hardest part. Sure they only use fan of blades till they die, but if you hit a horde player in stv you can bet you have 15 seconds before the swarm attacks
It happens on both sides it depends whos dominating the shard usually through making groups but horde dominate most shards because of extra numbers and I find horde are usually better geared aswell. I wouldn’t say ally are better, as I’ve geared up my horde id say more the opposite and it never used to be like that but a lot of people faction swapped
the only trouble i have is that with how shard tech work ally gets a x% bonus compared to horde for the same difficulty
