Why ally races are best for competitive PvP

Pretty self explanatory, but why most people choose alliance for competitive pvp?
Is it the human secondary stat + free trinket or the NE shadowmeld ?

NE shadowmeld is the most broken racial of all time.

I find human racial very lacklusting now a days n in alot of cases i even run actual medallion because the will to survive nerf ages ago making it a terrible trinket replacement. I prefer human for tmogs still but as for racials shadowmeld is insanely op.

Dwarf racial is also extremely good. Gnome is great on warriors. I still really like orc racial n my warrior is an orc but i think orc is pretty much the only good PvP racial on horde side. The rest have significantly better alternatives on ally but shadowmeld is the main issue with racial balancing. Give it a cast time or make it unusable in combat or something. Alternatively remove all racial actives n keep it as some irrelevant statstick passives.

the stats speaks for theymself

there is more nightelfs, than the total horde population in rated pvp content

I do think though that in tournaments or even at competitive 3x3, there should be an option to either have no racial at all ( that will make the race choice only for aesthetic reasons) or have a pool of racial skills and everyone pick an active and a passive one . that will most likely end up with everyone play with the same one but it will be as balanced as it can be but it will kill the diversity.
For the rest (normal BGs,solo Q ,blitz) racial would be as it is.
It is just a thought ,feel free to comment on that

Some hard counter spec like assa/feral with dwarf dark iron dwarf.

Other are situational, like undead and some are good against setup comp like orc.

Other are good in all situation but are sleeper like void elf for caster (anti push back effect on cast +port).

And other are pretty trash like worgen or night borne
