Just got some 2h garbage on my frost dk, what am i supposed to do with that junk? Same with fury warriors and 1hands

They’re telling you “Why are you playing Frost DK when we specifically want you to play Unholy, and once we’re done destroying that you’ll play what we really wanted you to play in the first place, rogue, druid, warlock or paladin.”
Blizzard has hated DK’s ever since they first developed them.
Set loot spec to unholy.

Because, not that long ago community was advocating for de-pruning and the return of the class identity over spec identity. One of the requests was two handed frost like in ‘good ol days’.

Really. And since when was “top meta” including “everyone”
All I know is whenever my dk is any group content it’s getting blasted by anything else.
Oh and before you start with the inevitable “gut gud at your class…”
Been playing DK since they were a thing. So I know what Im talking about when I say DK’s, especially Frost, have been been getting shafted by Blizzard ever since they switched frost to Dps and Blood to tank.
As for being “meta…”
Yeah. We all saw what happened as soon as Blizzard saw that Frost DK’s especially dual wielders, were having a bit of fun. They got walloped by the nerf hammer. So “top meta”?
Give that a few weeks.
Obliteration was the talent path of choice before TWW Pre patch when they played around with the talents, and allowed dual wielders to have both Breath and Obliteration talented. It was a breath of fresh air with BoS actually being a meaningful and powerful cooldown synergised with Obliteration, because it gave us a huge amount of burst and stopped us relying on a boss being kept standing still for a significant amount of time to get the most out of BoS. It still is a powerful burst. Just nowhere as powerful as it was.
But then along came Blizzard and decided, “no we can’t have that, the other melee classes are complaining so lets absolutely hammer Obliterate and only slightly softer hammer everything else. That’ll learn 'em.”
But hey, what do I know. Top Meta apparently. shrugs

game punishes you for playing frost dk, it is their balance
Those are some wild takes from a so called DK main. Hated since they first developed them? Deaths knights were insanely OP when first introduced, and have seen MANY seasons of glory in both PvE and PvP.
DKs are currently by far the highest melee dps in M+, aside from assassination rogues maybe, and both frost and unholy do insane amounts of damage. They also are the most tanky /self sustaining of the bunch, which is exactly why they’re meta. To whine about the current state of DK is beyond delusional
