Why are dwelves so demanding and with low fps?

I have 59 fps locked constant in any raid on 1080p, but in dwelves i drop in the 40`s always, while not so unplayble as anoyng, i find it strange, since if you look here:

My gpu never go above 70%, cpu same nevere above 70-75% and i never saw my wow to eat more than 10gb from my 16, so why the low fps in them? as i said in any raid i have 59 fps locked constant no drops nothing

Which GPU you got ?

For settings, you might want to check a video from Quazzi wow about video settings !

i have a 2060 super 16 gb ram ddr 5 and a amd ryzen 5 5500u

weird raids are generally lower for me

Could be you have some addons enabled that aren’t happy with delving. Also it’s possible you’ve enabled the raid graphics settings.

This is the main culprit here. You CPU is pretty weak in a game thats wants strong single-core power and/or big cache. (So the x3D from AMD.)

Nope. I am playing with Ryzen 5 1500X from 2017, and I have over 60fps in Delves while also doing stuff on the 2nd monitor. If @Kittyspell has issues only in Delves with the same settings as the rest of the game, it’s likely that either some addon interferes, or that there is something with non-raid and raid settings as @Alýsea says, or they need to do a full file check of the game in case something is corrupted. Even his graphics card is better than mine (I have RX7600).

Here is the link for reference - do note though this is for mimax players and may dumb down your visuals. I use these setting purely for instance content as I find the bigger the group the larger fps drops. With these setting I get better perfomance.

because you play on potato computer ?

i would know i play on one myself

you do realise its 2025 and 2017 was 8 years ago ?

Yes, which is why I mentioned it, so that the possibility of it being due to a low-power CPU is ruled out. Benchmarks show that Ryzen 5 5500U is slightly above Ryzen 5 1500X in all departments, so if my potato CPU from 8 years ago can handle it, so should a more powerful CPU from 4 years ago.

Wow is “cpu heavy” game and cant realy utilize multicore .

Overal benchmark doesnt realy matter here , as your r5 1500x has base speed 3.5 GHz while the 5500u has 2.1 GHz . So even tho your cpu is worse in benchmarks , it has better single core use , which is what matter most at wow. So for wow specificaly your cpu is better.

But, if OP has more fps in raid than in delves then there is something sketchy , some addon, WA, or just settings

R5 1500x has base 3.5GHz and boost 3.8GHz, while 5500u has base 2.1GHz and boost 4GHz

Yes, boost, but boost isnt guaranteed, it can be thermal throtled, or there might be any other issue that doesnt allow it ( bios mobo updates etc…) thats why i was pointing out just base

even if the base clock is 2.1 mine stay and work constantly in around 3,5 up to 3,8 with no heat problems, max temp i get i think is around 78 when i realy forge it to the max, there are tools like aatu for one exemple who let you disable some safties if you know what to do and have decent cooling
