All the Windrunner sisters are (and were, sorry Vereesa) romantically involved with Human men. What’s up with that?
Also why aren’t Half Elves more prevalent in-game and the lore? There’s bound to be more Half Elves than High Elves at this point.

Vereesa and Rhonin are self-inserts, that is their reason.
Nathanos is also a self-insert by a developer who really, really likes Sylvanas. That is why.
Alleria and Turalyon I feel are a much better developed human-elf couple.

Most fantasy lore, it appears, to have Elf women falling for heroic human males. I guess WoW is continuing the trend.
Don’t forget Valeera as well, she pledged herself to King Varian and now seems to be getting it on with Shaw.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with it though.

I think there could be a few reasons for that.

High elf men, just like the blood elves in some cases, are more feminine. It’s not my opinion, it’s even used in the Silly/flirt emote. Could be a reason

They do have some resemblance in skin color. Especially humans with blue eyes. They also have a long history of working together to deal with the Amani and old horde .
Windrunner sisters are more open minded with working with Humans, especially Alleria who suggested the idea during the second war. The king and many of the high elves didn’t like the idea at first, until she was able to convince them after the Windrunner village attack. So it’s kinda unfair to paint high elves as a whole liking humans based on these three sisters.
I Believe human men do favor high elf women too. High elf women age differently so they stay young and beautiful a long time.
Have you heard the High elf women speaking in Dalaran? It’s such a soothing voice.

/silly and /flirt aren’t really serious representations of the race, so yes… it is very much an opinion that you base on something that is supposed to be a joke. It becomes quite obvious that /silly and /flirt lines are made for the sake of joking when looking at all other races.
As you mentioned it though, High Elves are at large xenophobic and the Windrunner sisters along with a few other High Elves (Kael’thas included) are abnormalities.
Xenophobic may be a rather strong word to describe it though, it is more of a general mindset of just not really caring about the human race all too much. The High Elves at large have always been a little aloof, and it took the near decimation of their entire race for them to get their heads out of their own rearends.

I did not mean it in a offensive way at all. Blood elf male toons are my second favorite behind the male Trolls. I was saying it as a theory based on the silly/flirt, but yeah most likely it’s a joke and not an actual lore. Lor’themar is a great example of going against this stereotype.

Otherwise we may as well begin to believe that draenei are in fact as sultry and deviant as they are presented in Goldshire on the Moonguard and Argent Dawn servers.
And that their mating ritual involves beating gnomes.
“Okay, for mating ritual, we will need four… No, five sheep, one gnome, and Staff of Domination. Put gnome in bag, beat bag with staff, and meet me after gnome is tenderized.”
We all know that the punting of gnomes is the Horde’s mating ritual though.
