There is 19 store mounts out of 600+ mounts you dont have to buy them and all of them have the same frame and textures ingame already .
You can even use gold to buy them so there really is not issue at all.
I have atm 445 mounts the a small collection compared to other forum goers there is more than enough good mounts ingame without yhe need for HD updates or store bought.

I thought you have to do the Honeyback Harvester event in Stormsong Valley with enough people to get the mount drop?
No its a rep grind. But u get rep and jelly from that event.
You need to do a chain quest to unlock the reputation then you need to grind a lot of jelly. You can buy them from the AH though, and when you get Revered rep, you can purchase a Jelly tracker making it so much quicker and easier.

Of course; on other characters I use other mounts. I just pick what fits with the character I’m playing.
But basically; I love mounts that have either just a normal simple saddle or nothing or even better; they’re loaded with bags and adventuring gear.
But no spikey saddles, overly decorative saddles or monster mounts for me (yes, technically a gryphon is a monster; shush 
).
There are too many mounts in the game.

the mammoth and the brontosaurus are not really mounts they are just for standing around blocking the mailbox. I like small mounts best. I would never buy a mount.

There are plenty for everyone’s taste, you have smaller ones for those who like them small and huge mounts for those that want to be high in their seat.
You can always check the mount section in the game and scroll through the ones you don’t have yet, and then check wowhead to see how you can obtain it.
I personally like the flame hippogryph.
I hope we get eagle mounts from Highmountain one day.

More Horses on Hordeside would be nice, ideally one with blood elf themed armor.
You are playing ally , you shouldn’t have any issue obtaining horse reskins.
Who hurt you so badly that you’re actually asking for yet another horse mount?
I like the ones that vacuum the floor too.
I think the one I like the best are the flying carpets, those or the horses that look different as a ground mount.
I set the ones I like as favourites and ignore the rest, something the OP should try.
