With the announcement of the new Pandaria mode I’m happy to see old rewards made available again such as the Kor’kron war wolf.
And the Jellycat making a return for season is also welcome for those who didn’t do the raids in Shadowlands for it. I did the content back then and am happy for those who now get the chance to use the mount.
But, what is the arbitrary limit for this way of letting players get previous rewards? Why isn’t the Undercity plaguebat available again? Why not older rewards that are now unobtainable? It really hurts to see that some rewards that players worked for during a limited time are brought back but other limited rewards are untouched seemingly for no reason. Just make everything available to be worked towards, on the trading post or through other means. Let’s get rid of FOMO all together.
I would be fine if they added - everything ever - back into the game and obtainable.
I am not fine with anything being “limited time” / “fomo”.
It’s just a dumb stresser and digital scarcity tactic.
I am all in favour of bringing back removed stuff from the game, provided that they make some interesting way of getting it, that’s similar in difficulty to when it was first obtained.
If things are going to return they need to be clear when originally available, it is poor to have a limited time only mount you get only for it to come back for casuals who couldn’t manage the content.
The whining about FOMO is stupid, get over it. You are not a baby.
