I am one of those people, who actually like playing demo lock, but I usually only pug in SR raids. These raids usually clears without bigger problems, and I usually get 1-2 items/raid.
I tries joining guild for a while. These guys were really good, very high dps, very smooth clears, BUT: my gearing went into complete stop, I didn’t get a single item in 6 raids - raid was caster heavy, but still alts had priority over trials. After 6th raid I decided to leave the guild, and went back into pugging (trial period is both sided). I got my lock to 4.9k gs and decided to stop.
You shouldn’t sacrifice yourself for people who is manipulating you. If you already talked about these issues and they still ignore you - just leave and either find discord pug group or just another guild.
This is a red flag imo. They take you in as a trial for the main team, so prio for the main raiders is a given, but for alts? Yeah no, that’s not okay.
I can guess the trial period is more than a month, right? Anything more than 2 resets is bonkers.

Feel free to provide them. I find it very difficult to believe you’ve been raiding on a class you didn’t want to raid on for the entire expansion thus far (~9 months), while having a dictator guild/raid leader, and yet had enough players to raid Ulduar 7-8 hours a day on the first week.
Yeah this is starting to stink, something is clearly rotten.

Yea don’t want to deal with core of my ex guild. They keep yelling everything is fine and that every guild is struggling. Also they are very vindictive.
And you somehow believe that they can’t recognize you from the information you already provided assuming any of it is true.
Guild that has a 1 person LC, used to have 2 raids teams but now only 1
and your quite specific character history, hunter main, “forced” to play demo lock and also UH dk in phase 1.
If your story is true and any of them has read this thread I got news for you buddy, they know exactly who you are.
But as I said this all stinks and you first claiming there is logs and then not willing to back that up makes me quite confident that this is at best your own altered version also known as a “half truth”
These guilds that call themselves “semi-hardcore” are always garbage.
It’s usually a few friends who pretend they’re gods at the game. They’re not good enough to play in the actual “hardcore guilds” (the guilds that get classic first/ realm first/fastest clears…etc) So they do whatever they can to keep their crappy “semi-hardcore” guild alive.
Well, as much as I hated that guild, I wouldn’t doubt they were actual hardcore - maybe not Progress or Apes level of hardcore, but most of the raid was in orange range both in Naxx and in T4, and a couple members were the best players in their own spec in the realm. Though ofc one could argue that them getting loot before others did help getting those parses.
Still, at the end of the day, I couldn’t help noticing that, after switching guild, I got more loot over 1 month of TBC phase 2 than I got during the entirety of phase 1 even if, by then, my old guild had already downed Kael while my new guild was still progressing on both Kael and Vashj.
Dude ur guild sounds like a bunch of douchbags. Ur playing a spec u dont enjoy to benefit others and they refuse us any loot and rage at u when you say u had enough? Lol, thats a joke.

The problem is “decent guild” are the same who only down the harder boss in 2 months.
I’m playing the spec i like from 12 years, MM Hunter, and getting bench the first weak because i’m not playing SV.
And the members of my guild are really cool tbh, but that’s it, hard raid is cancer, because if you don’t kill the first weak you lost loot.
So to be sure about the 50 try, my guild will take the most Dk and Affli as possible.
Yeah 4,8 GS is a limit when you need specific BiS 252 items to progress it further and only static team or GDKP can get you these. MS/OS or SR every week vs new people is the lottery I do not wish to take part in on top on rare drop of these items.
All about communication and self-worth. It’s a game and these guilds take themselves way too serious anyway (main reason I quit wrath classic).
If you talk with the recruitment officer and he says trial periods last 2-3 resets and it goes beyond that for whatever reason it’s time to leave. Sure they claim your performance was subpar so use warcraftlogs to call them out for their bs.
Also raider alts getting prio over trials is a scam in and of itself.
I’ve seen guilds that deliberately encouraged a few of their geared mains to play on an alt that matched the trial’s (armor)class so they wouldn’t get loot. It’s crazy.
I love classic (wrath less so) but in those 4 years I’ve seen more guild drama in the form of powerhungry gm’s/officers who play 24/7 than I saw since I started playing in 2007.
well if ur determined to play with try hard min/max sweaties u need to accept that ur gonna get benched unless u go for the meta spec/build
I dont give a monkeys about any of that stuff I play just to have fun. Dont care if we wipe a billion zillion times on trash or Flame Lev on normal lol
