I say beginning of the dungeon " If I go afk , it’s because i’m expecting a delivery. I will be 30 seconds maximum. "
All of the party says yeah sure no problem. Literally all 4 members , write and confirm it’s okay.
We complete first dungeon , they all want to do another. We re-queue we pop into dungeon.
After first boss. I type " Delivery brb"
I was less than 30 seconds , i’m vote kicked.
Like come on guys , ffs I even had the curtesy to explain myself in advance.
Still got kicked. Give a person 30 seconds please at least minimum.
Geez
Not even writing about this , being a first time ever. Ever since LFD has been in the game , you get kicked almost instantly for being afk which is rediculous. I got kicked once for spilling a drink. I said let me get a towel brb 10 seconds. I was kicked. Like…
The playerbase are majority grown adults 25-45 bracket , you of all people should know some decency by now. A little respect for your fellow man ? surely.
If you know you may get a package today, you either waste an entire day of subscription or you’re disrespecting us. Because forcing somebody out and having them re-queue over a few seconds AFK in casual content isn’t wasting anyone’s time.
They wasted the OP’s time and their own, since they still had to look for another player to fill in. It’s not only rude, it doesn’t make a speck of sense.
People have stuff come up, don’t queue up for multiplayer activities if you can’t be decent about it.
Lots of people seem to think their time has more value then another person. I respect people I play with and I expect that same respect back. Just leave next time or don’t q up. Its that simple.
They didn’t? Am I missing something? If you kick one player you’re left with four, and you’re one short until you find somebody else. You either lose time or DPS, just as if they waited for OP to come back. Maybe they lost a few seconds less, maybe they lost a few seconds more.
What’s the for?
Yeah, Random Queues or PuGs in general are no longer suitable for the average people. They’re for the Elite who speed-run content.
Don’t play with randoms if:
You’re new to the game.
You’re learning a new spec / class.
Trying a new role.
It’s your first time in that dungeon.
You want to do anything for a quest / profession.
You aren’t geared, gemmed, enchanted and consumabled up the whazow.
Don’t have a latency under 10.
Have any physical issues that might slow you down by a nano-second.
Can’t dedicate every nano-second to the screen.
Guilds used to be for hardcore players doing the harder content.
Now Guilds and Communities are for casuals trying to do anything that needs other players. Find a community and they won’t kick you for saying “Hi”.
