So, I’m in Mechagon, flying around to get the 6 chests for the daily - and see that Crazed Trogg is up. So, fly down to him, waiting for him to say the colour you need to get to aggro him. I layed down a consecration just on the off chance it sped him up (didn’t think it would, but couldn’t hurt). Pretty much immediately, another character shows up, with the right paint, Trogg aggros, and we kill him. Cool. Then I get a whisper saying you need to get the paint. I replied, ‘thanks, I know, was just waiting for him to say the colour’. At which point this other guys says ‘yeah, that’s why you were trying to attack him you preteen fool’ - or (stronger) words to that effect (I’m 47 by the way lol). And when I tried to whisper back, he had of course immediately logged off - brave chap insulting someone he’d never met, and then logging off before getting a response. Sorry for the long, probably irrelevant post lol - but I just do not get people these days…
Just ignore these types of people. They are nothing.
Its normal in this day and age people are very determined, self-righteous ignorant and like to embody the mentality of Karen who demands to speak with your manager.

We are about the same age. There are people like that in real life also. Anonymity make it worse. I try to be positive mostly the people are nice.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: WoW is nothing compared to most other games in terms of how toxic people get. Try and play practically any online shooter and you’ll see actual toxicity.
The lack of any consequences and that everyone is a stranger makes people feel removed from interacting with others in any decent way.
I’m currently leveling my priest and I get group after group with people never replying to my attempts at getting a casual chat going. People just don’t care. It’s the same place that these sort of people come from, except you were a little more intrusive than someone trying to chat in a dungeon I guess. I don’t mean to say you did anything wrong, just to be clear.
Toxicity is trait that we all have it’s in our core because we are competitive beings .
I understand that raid tier is up for more than half year but do we need create new issues just because there isn´t any relevant content.

Emotionally volatile people aren’t worth your time. Ignore them and let them cool down. Even animals do this to their young to behave lol
