Ok, because this is a pattern like only 1 in 4 or 5 priests seem to ever use it.
Isn’t it a powerful cooldown? Like when you get 4 sec stun and melee is unleashing everything on you, shouldn’t a priest leap you then?
I’m just perplexed I get priests in 2v2 that literally never use it a single time even when it’s really useful. not even to help me chase a LoSing kill target?

then priest can fear the melee if he follows??
If they have a warrior then don’t bother fearing him other guys fear will get dispelled anyways so they will keep smashing you both
It definitely has its uses but I think grip and mc require quite high knowledge to use effectively. If you do a bad grip or a bad mc it can put you back pretty far.

I use leap every game, you can do really good with it for example :pre grip à bomb or chaos bolt.
You can also grip your heal trapped into an aoe to break the cc.
But you can also troll your mate for example, your healer is low and try to heal himself back and then you grip him (he can’t get cast off) and die. But tbh it happen only without voice and not often.

I think that a lot of priest do use it when you dont want them to use it. For example you charge in and they grip you back haha.
Just depends on the players you play with. Same goes for palas who dont give you bubble etc etc.

At least they’re not gripping when you’re trying to cast a gpie.

Can confirm, can’t count how many times I’ve worked/faked through the enemy’s kicks only for the random LFG Priest I invited to grip me on my 100% garneted poly on the enemy healer. By the time I reposition to cast again the kicks are cycling back up. It really sucks.
It doesnt matter if you do a god-play with it…if you dare to grip your partner when he dodnt want you…you get sooooo much sh!t for it you would rather thing twice next time before you use it…
Or also these individuals that still rock with mechagon trinket and blue card that prevents you from using leap…and then asking you …“why no grip”

Leap of Faith doesn’t work on stunned targets, or at least when I played priest it didn’t.
it does work on stun, root is what cucks you.
