Why are professions so utterly devoid of features in Shadowlands?

Eh, maybe this game is too focused on the rewards rather than the activities being fun.

Still crafting can be done in various ways without hurting the people who like raiding (as in enjoying it rather than just chasing gear).

I played MMO’s where crafting was pretty much the best gear or at the very least very good gear. We still did group content, some items needed resources from these places but there was no soulbind items so you could still craft that gear with just buying the ingredients. Which opened up the market a bit more.

Because you are in the afterlife. There is no need for professions as everyone is dead.

Yet the Faes in Glitterfall Basin are fully occupied with their lines of production, and there even in a WQ for helping them obtaining their resources.

:stuck_out_tongue:

No it doesnt.
Its way easier to get a weap from a raid then farming a truckton of mats?
Also why not have both routes?

The crafted stuff would still outpace raid gear. Look at tbc crafting. The stuff was so good that you would use it for multiple raid tiers, making any drops of such things would be an utter miss gear-wise. By wrath they reined in crafting to just be equal to starting raid gear.
