so i checked the new xpac’s items, and dk can mog helmets from warrior + pala + their own, dh can mog nothing, only their own helms. So i dont understand?
You’re comparing Plate to Oranges
All 3 of these classes wear Plate.
DH wears Leather.
Do you have a Rogue, Monk or Druid? Those also wear Leather and share mogs with each other.
thats what i meant, in the collection tab from the new items, only the dk set is showing for helms, while on dk it shows everything, meaning dk can mog them, dh can onlymog dh
edit: meant on the dk, its showing helms from thew warrior + pala set the dk can mog, while dh only shows dh
As I said, DK, Warrior and Paladin all wear Plate armour. So they can mog each others appearances (except for Class Tier Sets which are Class specific).
DH can only mog Leather gear (not Plate, not Mail, not cloth). So your DH can mog anything your rogue can.
With recent changes your DK or Paladin can learn the appearance of Lether items but they can’t mog them. But once learned your DH can.
no thats not the case and not what i mean
from season 1 tww, on my dk i can see in the uncollected appearances in the head slot, helms from warrior pala and dk
on my dh i can see helms for dh only, no rogue, no druid, no monk, only dh
my original question is since some items are shareable why isnt the full set shareable
The wide ones are for Dwarves and Tauren, who tend to be a bit more full of stature
There are various types of transmog.
Things that are class specific are not shared. Some tier pieces come in the form of off pieces that other same armor type classes can collect and use. It’s usually not possible to get a full tier replica set on a different class it wasn’t intended for. They hold back one or two pieces sometimes more. It varies.
Some expansions didn’t have tier sets just armor type sets. So everyone with the same armor type can wear it all.
Some things are cosmetics that can be applied to any class across the board.
might it be a filter thing on your DH by chance?
